The sound for the size is fabulous. The room is fairly small, so I don’t know what it would sound like in a big room, but works great for me.

I really Love the Sono's speakers I bought and plan on getting a couple of more to add to my living room so to get the surround sound effect!

The sonos playbar has a rich midrange sound, and sounds pretty good for music, especially natural instruments. There is limited bass, so I don't expect thumping bass from the playbar. With that said, I don't miss any bottom end watching TV or movies, but on some music it would be nice to have just a bit more low end. As far as the sonos app goes, I find it good for online streaming sources with playlists, and I try to never import to the app as my moods change too often. I should note that it is large for a soundbar, and I ended up putting my TV on a shelf to raise it a bit.

Incredible crystal-clear sound. I have the sound bar laying horizontally in front of my TV. Without even mounting it on the wall it fills the room with incredible fidelity. The wireless bridge allows the data streaming to run separately on your home network so no additional bandwidth is used on your home network when the soundbar is streaming music. There is absolutely no latency when using the app to adjust volume and there are numerous free music channels to listen to on the app. I feel that the price was a little high. At a price of $699, I decided to just purchase the sound bar for now. I am still saving for the sub woofer and hope to add it to the system within a few months. The system was also very easy to set up and was operational within minutes from opening the box. I felt that the Sonos system was the most versatile because you can continually add pieces as you need them without the need to run any wires.

Went shopping for a sound bar for my Daughters TV and purchased this for myself before Christmas. I gave here my Bose One. This sound bar replaced the Bose.

We wanted to upgrade our home stereo system. We had a Yamaha receiver and Sony 7 point surround speakers with a Klipsch subwoofer. We bought the Sonos Playbar which came with the subwoofer. We also added 2 background speakers. We couldn't be happier with our purchase! The sound is amazing and the app that controls the system is great! Set up is so simple. Only takes minutes!

Sonos is a great Stystem I have 3 speakers throughout the house up each can be turned thgether or separate. The TV Bar is great great sound

I must have waited 4 years to buy a sonos system. It's not that I didn't want one, I just couldn't justify the cost. I do not regret at all splurging on it now that it is hooked up. The soundbar, sub, and two play 3 speakers makes for one awesome surround system that you simply plug in. I even disconnect the play 3 speakers and bring them outside when we have get togethers. If your thinking about buying this system, don't think anymore and just do it. You will not regret it!

After buying this bar I can see why Consumer reports has this bar as there best buy. The sound is great, and the fact that you can add more speakers through the app is also nice. I would like a longer power cord to run through the wall to hide it, and easer to hard wire. But worth the price, and since BOSE has the same price point why not try SONOS.

By all means buy one the sound is incredible and the app you download to control it is unbelievable we love it !!!!

Tested quite a few other soundar/subwoofer combinations, including the Bose Acoustimas, and I found the Sonos to blow it out of the water.

Great sound and easy to set up. Bought a Sony first but didn’t think the sound had enough depth. No regrets in exchanging with the Sonos.

Was a little hesisitant to purchase based on the price point compared to the many other options, but am sure glad I didn't pass this up. Best sound in the store and even better at home. Would highly recommend this based on sound quality, easy to install and the ability to incorporate the other sound pieces at a later purchase date. Excellent purchase!

great sound paired with the subwoofer. different sound than the bose system, but just as good. Love having the flexibility of the Sonos system to play in any room.

The Sonos Playbar looks great mounted to the wall under my smart TV. The sound clarity is excellent and when paired with a Sonos sub it will blow you away. I purchased the wall mount for this Playbar which helped make the installation easier and for very little money helped add a professional look to the overall installation

My husband and I bought this sound bar with the subwoofer so that when Guardians of the Galaxy comes out, Ronin's staff will shake the house. The sound quality is fantastic. It's very clear. I also love that I can use the Sonos app to connect to my Amazon cloud player when I just feel like listening to music. Make sure you buy the bridge when you get this system to make it easier to install it.

I got the Sonos Playbar for 2 reasons: 1) to boost the sound from my Samsung 46 in LCD TV 2) to have multi room sound with my existing Sonos Play 3 set-up It delivers on both - the sound quality is excellent, it's easy to set up and looks great. However it's very pricey and you could get nearly 3 Sonos Play 3 units for the same price, so unless you need it for your TV AND to act as a sound system, you might want to consider alternatives. That said, I love it and wouldn't be without it now.

Even thought this speaker has a high price tag, it is well worth the money. The sound quality is unbelievable & they are such easy speakers to connect together

Great sound for watching tv or listing to music services. I like the SONOS functionality, too!
