This soundbar sounds really good. I have it plugged in right in front of my TV. I have had this for about a month now and im glad I made the purchase.

On the expensive side, but great sound quality and can add other speakers wirelessly to make a better TV experience. Easy to set up and hook up to TV.

I was a bit hesitant to go with Sonos due to the "closed" system but I'm happy that I pulled the trigger. The sound is robust (only have the soundbar and no sub) and setup took less than 15 minutes. That setup time included the software update, sound calibration for the room, registration, app settings and such. Looking forward to adding the Play 1's for rear!

Replaced a 7.2 Yamaha receiver that quit working and high end Energy speakers. Amazed as the sound. Plan to purchase Sonos sub next.

Excellent.Bought a playbar first. I ended up buying 2 play3's for playbar. 2 play1's for bathroom & bedroom & a play5 for our large kitchen.Sounds amazing.

I was very excited to gets this product and enjoy a great sound experience at home. However, the sound dropped intermittently for a couple of seconds. This continued to happen and would not go away. Thinking it was the sound bar, I exchanged it for a new one hoping it would fix the problem. I was wrong, the problem continued. Doing some research online, I was not alone. It seems as though sonos is aware of the problem and there is no fix. The sound was amazing when it worked and the setup was a breeze.

This is my first experience with a soundbar. It connects to the TV via the optical cable for digital. Once it is set up, it works trouble-free. The sound is very balanced between highs and lows, and I added the Sonos Sub for extra depth. I'm very happy with the sound and quality overall.

I already owned several other SONOS products and added the Playbar to my system. Playbar is easy to setup and pair to rear speakers; however setup is a little more tricky when using a non-SONOS sub. Sound quality is good. This is not a replacement for really good floor speakers.

If your interested in shaking the house, rattling the windows this is the sound Bar for you. Add the Sub Woofer and its a done deal.

Bought the Sonos 5.1 Home theater system. My family room is huge with one of the wall being half open leading into cafe nook & kitchen. Hence was a little apprehensive about Sonos ability to fill my room with high quality sound. I am glad it did not disappoint me. Absolutely enjoying the music in my room. Extremely crisp and clear even at max volume. No distortion of sound. Sonos Playbar is probably one of the best sound bar i have heard so far.

If you have gone all in on Sonos speakers for part of your home and wonder if this is a purchase for you, I would say get it. If you are thinking about Sonos then perhaps start with something smaller like the Play 1. First, let's start with the good things about it. Simple set up. Limited cords running in/out of the device. Solid app from Sonos to play music. The app also has a low base mode for watching things at night and another mode that increases speaking audio so you can hear better. They work pretty well too. The speaker works with Harmony remotes and I have had little trouble with it. Cautionary notes: Sonos works well with most wifi networks but not all, depending on your setup. Your wifi may interfere causing the speakers to drop out so make sure you know how to change your settings. The bad: this isn't cheap and you really need the sub to go with it, making it even more costly. No Bluetooth streaming from your device is another. This is a Sonos thing and I get it, they want you to have a specific type of experience with their speakers. Still, at the end of the day I can't play stuff directly off of my phone. But also at the end of the day I am very happy with the speaker and would recommend it.

This bar sounds amazing, all components connect wireless, this is especially important for me since I don't like cables, easy to install. App is awesome

After purchasing a play 5 and the subwoofer, I bought the sound bar for my tv. It still amazes me how such quality sound at any level is delivered through my sound bar. It makes watching tv a whole new experience! Set up was easy and fun and was very easy to connect! Highly recommend to anyone who is ready to bring their sound system to perfection!

We replaced a Samsung soundbar with the Sonos. Couldn't be happier. Easy to set up and easy to hang from the wall using the template which was provided.

I purchased another highly rated sound bar (that was cheaper) and was disappointed with the sound then it quit after about 30 hours of use. I should have just bit the bullet and got the Sonos. It sounds fantastic, works great with the phone app, is compatible with the TV remote and the wireless expandability is another asset. It doesn't pay to go cheap.

I had a Sony ST7 sound bar and it doesn't come close to the sonos. I had the chance to purchase the sonos when I was looking for one, but I went back and forth in bestbuy listening to each one and (boom), I picked the wrong one. Now it's been a year since I got the Sony, so I bought the right one this time. Don't forget to purchase the Sub, because it is awesome!

My husband was having trouble hearing the vocal track on our new TV and I went looking for a solution. Wasn't too keen on setting up an amplifier and wired speakers. This playbar was recommended by a Best Buy employee, who explained how it worked and what I'd need to do to set it up. It has made an amazing difference in being able to hear the TV. As a bonus, we can also use it to stream music, which we weren't looking for but really like how this playbar does the job. Have bought more Sonos products since on the basis of our satisfaction with this playbar.

Will be thrilled to have able to replace all the wired speakers in the house with this system. Only concern is that it relies on quality of wifi.

The Sonos system by far is one of the best wireless surround systems. I love that it is controlled by the app. I would highly recommend this system

I upgraded from the Sonos Playbase and the difference in sound is amazing. I’ve not used it too much for movies yet. But music sounds amazing. I’m pairing the speaker withTidal for a hifi sound. I was immediately impressed right out of the box with the ease of setup and size of the product.
