Great sound quality! SONOS offers significantly better music quality than your average Bluetooth or smart speaker, and is reasonably priced. It's also a great first step into a multi-speaker setup for your home and is easy to setup/install.

Amazing sound. This purchase is likely for those invested in Sonos. It integrates well as an additional music source, or TV and Movie surround system. It should be integrated with the subwoofer to really complete the sound if not used with a pair of play 1s. Works flawlessly with your Sonos controller phone or pc. Easy set up; no issues for me using the optical only line in (good optical toslinks on amazon for cheap). Great sound! If you just want a sound bar and woofer that is not a home integratred system you can digitally control and expand this is not a good product for you as far as value. It is a high end toy and quite expensive if on the fence. You wont be disappointed if you are seeking this type of digital sound bar integration. If you are a big DTS surround user with high wattage demands you should look elesewhere. The new playbase is not a replacement for this.

I purchased this "Playbar"as a part of the Sonos Surround Sound System and it does not disappoint!! There is a HUGE difference in sound between the smaller Playbar ($400) and the larger Playbar ($700) and if you can afford to purchase the larger one, it would be well worth the investment. I would even go so far as to recommend purchasing the larger Playbar and save up for the rear speakers or the subwoofer, it's that good. The sound is very clear/loud and compliments well with the entire (simple) 4 piece system (Lg. Play bar+Subwoofer+2 rear, 360 degree speakers) This system along with the 75" TCL TV is really an incredible/top of the line experience to have in our home. WELL worth the total package of ~$3800 for all (75" TV+Sonos Surround Sound System) Highly recommend.

We were planning to buy a BOSE system for our house. We had a Bose system and just thought they were the best. The guy that came and did a quote for our media room and other stuff in our house actually quoted Bose at our request. When we went into Best Buy to pick out some things the Guy helping us suggested we take a look at the Sonos Bar. We are so thrilled we did because the sound is amazing! Sonos is the way to go and we were outdated!!

Sonos soundbar blows all other speakers away....no question!! Super easy set-up!! I love it!!

I previously had a Klipsch sound bar as part of my control4 setup. This sound bar far exceeds my previous one and I love how much easier it is to setup, program and adjust sound settings. I am very particular about sound....well worth the money.

I have bought 3 of these. I love the Sonos wireless setup. Makes it easy to set up the whole house to stream music. Could use a little more Bass for my ear and they are a little overpriced, but they are a breeze to setup.

Great product and easy to set up. I love the ability to control everything through my ipad.

I almost didn't buy this as there are reviews on BestBuy talking about a quality issue and popping sound. Those are 2014 reviews and Sonos would t be around if they didn't fix the root issue. The speaker setup easily, sounds great and I would buy it again.

Fits perfectly under my TV and with no wires (other than the power and optic) you really forget it is there until the awesome sound comes out and fills the room. Had Bose component speakers before and these are just as good or better.

There are two things to consider about the Sonos sound bar: 1) the sound of the device itself, and 2) the Sonos system "concept". 1) The sound bar was a huge improvement over the speakers on our 60" TV (especially for our relatively large and open living room area); I do wish it had more power/volume, but that is asking alot of just one speaker system (i.e., we could add a subwoofer and more speakers). 2) The SONOS concept (wirelessly-managed sound distribution) can be hard to grasp, but is WONDERFUL once you get it: we got their "bridge" with the soundbar (simplifies set up too), and now I can, from anywhere in my house (anywhere I have cell phone coverage, actually!) control what gets played (radio, music library, TV) and volume. So convenient.

Giving this product 5 stars purely for the sound quality it delivers. I did a lot of research, read through several dozen reviews and even cranked up the display at my local BB so I knew exactly what I was buying. This item isn't cheap so make sure to read specs and customer reviews to ensure this item meets your needs. The entire system connects to your Wifi network so the system is completely wireless. Here is a list of the basics I think are lacking: - No remote - I use my own universal remote which works fine to control volume - All audio settings controlled by your phone/tablet via the Sonos app. - All music must play through the Sonos app from your phone/table. This includes any music libraries stored on your device, and ALL music apps (i.e. Pandora, Soundcloud, etc) - There is no Bluetooth capability

Installation was easy ,Great price, nice sound , iPhone app works perfect with sound bar.

We have had cheaper sound bars before and were hesitant on the price jump to this product, but let me tell you it was worth every single penny!! Absolutely 100 times better than any sound bar we have ever heard. People come to our house and immediately ask many questions about it because they can not believe that kind of sound comes from a sound bar. We purchased the Sonos Sub Woofer as well and highly recommend you don't skip that. Big investment, but worth it because we have had Sonos for a long time and you just can not get better quality or ease of use. Plus these components come with you if you ever move, unlike investing in wall speakers that you potentially have to donate to a future homebuyer.
