I have always owned and loved Bose speakers and surround sound and still do BUT these sonos speakers are amazing and super easy to set up.

I'm a sound editor that works mostly on television shows but ironically at home I didn't have a home theatre system to listen to on my Samsung LED TV. I just wanted an upgrade from the television speakers so I decided to get an affordable yet decent sounding sound bar. I'm a sucker for great advertisements and the Sonos really caught my eye so I decided to try it out. It literally took 30 minutes to set up. Optical cable in, connect to Sonos Bridge to wireless router, sync with the Playbar. Voila. Already 10xs better than what I had. The look is sleek and clean because there are no extraneous cables needed. As far as sound quality, it's not bad for a sound bar. It does create a faux surround sound which is cool. It does lack some low end but what do you expect from a sound bar. It's definitely not a flat signal and have EQ'd speakers kind of like Bose does. Despite these flaws, movies and TV shows sound full and rich but playing music of all sorts sounds awesome on it. You can download the app on your iOS device and control it on your phone or tablet. Play any popular music application you want on it like Spotify Premium, Pandora, etc. and have your music play if you don't want the TV anymore.That alone had me sold on it. Other cool features on it are the night mode and the speech enhancer. i thought it was expensive at first but totally worth the money after I saw all the features.

There is No comparison as far as sound quality and design between this soundbar and any other on the market. The best sounding smart soundbar.

Set up soundbar, sub, 2 rears in my family room and bedroom and couldn't be happier with the sound quality and wireless convenience of streaming music to every room

This playbar sounds great used alone but for a true movie theater quality sound experience, you need to purchase the subwoofer and satellite speakers!

Easy setup. Great sound. Worth the money! We had 4 Sonos speakers prior. Now the surround sound for the tv is perfect.

Was not sure which sound equipment I wished to go with but definitely feel I chose the correct one! Sound is great. Very easy to use.

I have been reading about the Sonos sound bar for a long time. I am a huge Sonos fan. Have lots of other components. Just couldn't pull the trigger on picking one up. Am I glad I finally did. What an addition to sound. Getting older and losing a little hearing. What a difference. I can now hear all of the little sounds I was just missing out on. I am not going to compare this speaker to Bose or Klipsch or anything else. Unless you just want something to complain about. I don't think you will be upset with this speaker at all. The ease of install is amazing. Anyone can do it.

Best sound bar I've owned so far. Seemed a bit overpriced, however after hearing the performance, I quickly decided it was a good investment.

This has great sound by itself, but adding the sub woofer makes it phenomenal! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is set up was a little more difficult than we thought. We ended up calling Best Buy and thankfully they knew the product well and walked us through it over the phone. Apparently, though we followed all the steps, set up didn't take. We kept re-setting it up but really weren't sure where we went wrong. When we called, we were told we would need to reset it and start over as there was no way to tell what step went wrong. I have no problem re-setting, but the super simplified instructions neither mentioned resetting or telling you how to do it. When we were told where the little reset hole was we knew we would have never just found that on our own. So even though I totally love it and it sounds great, I think they should have added that little detail to the instructions just in case.

My husband and I are always arguing about the easiness of surround sound systems. I not being a techy person don't understand all the remote controls , changing inputs, bluetooth setting etc…. And I LOVE this system because I totally can use this without having to ask one question. So user friendly and the sound is unbelievable! We have had a couple different ones and nothing compares to Sonos! A great buy! I highly recommend this system.

If you are buying this for a surround sound set up just know that this does not support DTS audio. Only DD5.1 and also note that I have tried this setup on both the Samsung JS9500 and the LG EF9500 witch both have intermittent audio dropouts when watching live tv and streaming as well this is caused by the fact that Sonos only uses an optical cable with this product and most tvs do not support DD5.1 through the optical cable... But if you are satisfied with stereo2.0 you will be ok with this product...

My wife got me this sound bar for Christmas along with a Pay 1 speaker. We already had one Play 1. Set up surround sound in the living room. Easy set up- love it!

I have a very large, open floor plan in my family room. My new LG UHD TV had trouble delivering a clear sound throughout the room. The Sonos soundbar does not have that problem - it fills the room with incredible sound. So much so, I don't think I really even need the sub woofer.

Be honest with you this is not what I expect with this price point. I paid a lot to get a true 5.1 surround sound. (Playbar-$699.99, Sub-$699.99, two Sonos one $399.98) So I paid a total of $1800 plus tax(108.00) = $1,908.00 I believe on “you get what you paid for.” But with Sonos it’s little bit different. A lot off people complained about not having Bluetooth, HDMI etc.. so I’m not going to repeat same word again. My complain is Most Tv output STEREO through Optical. So we paid to $$1,908.00 not to get a real 5.1 surround? Sonos should come with some other way to solve this problem. At least like a HUB that will solve most of the problem that people complaining about (Bluetooth, HDMI and also Stereo issues) I will absolutely change my rate and Buy it again Only if they solve this problem. For now it’s time to repack and return to the store.

Great sound bar. Sound us excellent. Speaker was easyto setup. Paired with a sub and some Ones for an excellent surround sound system.

I've had the Sonos sound bar for almost a year. It's linked to my 60 inch Samsung TV and the sound is fabulous. Setup was a snap and hassle-free. I don't know how Sonos does it - maybe it has something to do with the 180 degree soundstage, but the sound is multi-dimensional and room filing. Vocals are crystal clear, movies produce life-like, realistic sound. I can't imagine better sound, and that's WITHOUT the sub-woofer. My wife bought me this soundbar last Christmas, so guess what I'm wishing for this year? Can you say sub-woofer? It will take my entertainment room to new heights of fidelity.

Sound system is great! However, it doesn't have the thump I was hoping for. Invested in the Sonos Bass to add to the system and now it's AMAZING!! Well worth the money. It's not JUST a speaker, it's a SONOS. Love the features and HiFi music capability.

This soundbar paired with the subwoofer, will make your tv experience to a complete different level! I look forward to football season!!

I chose the Sonos soundbar primarily to expand my home audio system. I love the Sonos app and think they offer the best selection of music services. The sound quality is great and I plan to expand my system with the sub and Play:1s for surround sound very soon. My only complaint is compatibility issue with some TVs where a "volume" message displays on the screen whenever the volume is adjusted. This was the case on my Samsung F8500 plasma. After spending some time on forums, I was able to find a workaround for this issue that seems to have fixed the problem.
