This is a great sound bar! Tried it out while watching the US Open! The sound difference is incredible! Very easy set-up!

Overall the sound is pretty good from the playbar unless the bass is turned up. I enjoy listening to all music and I like to turn it up loud. I noticed with this playbar you MUST turn the bass down when you turn the volume up. I actually had Best Buy come out and replace my first playbar, Which they were more than willing to do, and the tech said he had never heard one malfunction like that. Basically when the volume is up and the bass is set to mid power or more every time a bass note hits the rest of the sound mutes down and gets muddy sounding. The new playbar is doing the same thing and the only reason I am sticking with it for another week or so is I plan to add the sub to see if this problem is eliminated. I do like the ease of use and the ability to operate things through the free app but bass should be better from a $700 soundbar.

I'm using the Playbar with two surround speakers. I am using a wi-fi range extender that has confused the system a couple of times and I've had to reconnect my mobile app to the system. Also, I would prefer to have a basic remote control option for less technical family members or guests who want to use the system for tv watching. That is a real gap...the babysitter had no audio.

Only negative I can think of is this is not the newest WiFi technology. I just got a new Router and went through a heck of a time trying to re pair/set up. This bar only will work on 2G and I had to modify several router settings with tech support. Took all day! They basically had to dummy down the router to be able to use the sound bar again. Also I was told it was really bogging down my WiFi when Service tech and I checked internet speeds. I love it but worry it’s already dated technology which the price does not reflect!

You will be happy with the sound bar only but if you want complete sound add play 3 speakers. Later add other options. If you over buy you can find a place for your speakers. Wireless system is great. Once you learn how to operate the system you will never buy another system. I have been waiting for a system that is wireless and this is it. Sound bar produces mega bass and adding the sub really enhances the sound. Quick setup: Set up each room to the sound bar with play 3 as surround speakers. Set up play one in same room naming it another room for enhanced speaking. Set up play 5 in rear of room naming it in another room and it will play language and deep background. When grouped you can control each separately on your iPad/iPhone. Family complains it is too loud so now I can eliminate all the great sound and isolate the sound to my play 1 speaker next to the couch. It still sounds great and can hear every word without disturbing family upstairs. [When they are away WOW the sound is fantastic. Michael Jackson DVD sounds live] Note: sometimes speaker grouping is lost and an easy fix for iPhone is to turn on and off airplane mode and system reconnects. I'm a believer in SONOS. They make new products to add to your existing system.

The Sonos Playbar has excellent sound even without a subwoofer. It is simple to install and works well watching tv or listening to your music. You may experience some audio drop outs if your tv uses dolby digital (like Sony) instead of PCM (like Samsung). Their technical support is excellent, but they may only be able to resolve this issue by having you change or modify your cable box or have you try a different optical cable. Nevertheless, its still a great product to purchase.

Everything sounds AMAZING, crisp and clear although the guy who sold me the items led me to believe that the sonos 5 was a subwoofer and that my kids to have a speaker and it would connect to their TV when it ONLY connect to their phones for music... so I had to buy them both their own soundbar systems which I only found that out when I had to go to another to return a white speaker he sold us when our entire system was black.. I think he wasn't very educated about the product and he just was trying ro push a sale...however the products are amazing

We tried two other sound systems and returned both unsatisfied with both, one because poor voice sound and the other because of problem with unit and customer support from manufacturer. We then decided to go with the sonos sound bar and base and am so happy we did. The sound is great for tv, movies and music, we are completely satisfied with this product. This cost more than many others but if you are looking for a great sound and clear voices that are not covered up with background than this is the one to get

I was looking for a good semi-wireless system. The Sonos products have not disappointed me. Could be priced a bit lower

Love this SONOS Playbar , 2nd one I have purchased. Could not ask for a better speaker , so easy to set up and great sound.

This thing is extremely easy to setup and the sound quality is amazing. Combine that with the ability to easily stream music and it is a no brainer.

The Sonos soundbar sounds great. Doesn't sound 'tinny' like the cheaper models we listened to. Easy setup. Only hitch was the speaker had no sound for a bit. Not sure whether it was the speaker, TV, or cable though. Will be getting additional speakers soon to enhance our sound system

One of the best soundbars which i got and it's really good technology wise and quality would definitely recommend to all soundbar lovers !! Thanks to Best buy for explaining me clearly how sonos works thans for t their patience

I was apprehensive at first but all thoughts went away as soon as I heard the sound. Setup was super easy as well. Good purchase. Can't wait to get play:3 and woofer.

This is very easy to use. Has great sound. Connects easily to the phone app and has very easy set up. The quality of this is amazing.

This unit is fantastic, the sound and clarity is unsurpassed . I am so happy with this unit so far only have had about 2 months and so far I love it. I have this as well as speakers and bass unit for a surround sound for my living room. The items came well packaged so you could tell the people that build this product cares. Very easy to install and link up for wireless but you do need the bridge to do this. Also even thou wireless you still need 110v supply for each unit.

This is great for those that either dont have a surround sound system or want to ditch the wires they have. Produces great sound

I Love this product great sound easy to use. Plug and play. It does have a quirk where the tv sound occasionally cuts out but it's awesome otherwise!

I felt the soundbar was a little expensive. However, setting it up and using it was simple and the and the sound quality was great.
