Best purchase ever for a soundbar. Yes it's not a cheap one but if you look what it can do and what features it has. We love Sonos it was so easy to install and the sound is just awesome.

Very attractive speaker. Easy to use and setup. Sound quality is great but not as big as I expected for the price but will add the sub and more speakers to fill my home with more sound

I have this soundbar setup in my living room. So far we have only used it for movies/tv, but will eventually stream music as well. It has a great sound and was super easy to setup/install.

This by far is the best sound bar that I researched. I am very happy with the sound!!! I would recommend purchasing the Subwoofer to go with the Playbar, you won't be disappointed.

Rating 4 stars only because in our very large open cathedral ceiling room the sound bar wasn't enough to provide the best robust and rich sound we needed In average room. I'm sure the sound would blow anyone away without the cathedral type room. We set 2 Sonos 3s in the back and will probably include a 5. Easy set up and can't wait to get sub woofer!

Plug and play with absolutely beautiful sound. Ended up going back for the subwoofer the following week. Fills the house with music and watching TV is like a brand new experience!

Totally changes the way we watch TV. I love that there are modes that allow me to hear the voices better, as well as watch TV at night. A truly incredible product

This sound bar works well, great sound unlike the previous two sound bars I bought, when you add the two surround speakers and sub its a perfect system, Doesn't do advance its or dolby hd but sufficient for my needs and it works unlike some other bars that lose connection etc. Love it. Love being able to stream music from the bar itself from pandora etc without having to leave my iPhone or laptop open etc, Buy it

If you are looking for a Sound system that will "blow your socks off", in terms of total Volume, this isn't the system for you. However, i went to Best buy looking to get the Bose sound bar for my new t.v. I have a lot of Bose equipment but the sales guy had me compare the Bose sound bar to the sonos sound bar with wireless subwoofer. The clarity was incredible and I thought the price might be a little less. It was not. However, what makes the Sonos system more expensive in the end, makes it more valuable to me as a consumer. I have added a Play 3 to the sound bar and sub woofer and the system gets better and better. The point is that the woofer and sound bar sound just as good as the bose bar and better than the sony 7.1 or samsung bars. But, you can add the additional speakers when you are ready and each (speaker (play 3 or play 5)) can be set up to play anywhere you want in your household, or outside, and play different stations or T.V., depending on what you select on the Sonos application. That brings me to the sonos application: Originally, i was looking for a bar that had bluetooth so that i could play pandora on it. The sonos system doesn't have bluetooth but works off of an application that you download on your phone or computer, which in turn communicates through a router you set up to your wifi. the application and router allows you to multitask each speaker to play whatever you like in any room, depending on where you set up the speakers. So, i walk into my living room, my sonos bar and woofer are playing the sounds coming from my t.v. but when i go to my bedroom, the sonos play 3 is playing pandora. To sum up, the clarity is awesome and the base is great. It does not have a lot of power and the flexibility of the speakers and the use of the sonos application makes it great bang for the buck and can be used for more than T.V. entertainment.

I have had so many issues with so many receivers through the years, I finally decided a good sound bar was the way to go. I love that you can play it without your TV being on and u can stream music from many apps to name just a few, like pandora, spotify, or your own I pod. The sound is really good and way less wires and complications that come with a receiver

This is my 2nd Sonos soundbar. I went back to them because the setup is EXTREMELY easy. Just download the app and click add soundbar and it walks you through the steps. The sound is fantastic and you do not even need a subwoofer for those deep sounds with this bar. The clarity is great on the higher frequency sounds as well. With todays thin TVs a soundbar is a must if you want to enjoy a theater type experience

The sonos sounder provides great sound and voice clarity in larger rooms. Its ability to fill the room with sound on its own or in conjunction with other sonos speakers provides for an easy set up of a surround sound system. On top of that, the sonos system for music is fantastic. Set up and installation is very easy and with the sonos tune play adjustments, the amateur can't go wrong with installation. Great buy.

Easy set up, superb sound, best on the market. A little pricey but worth it

Oringally was considering the Sonos Beam. After listening to both in the BestBuy store the Playbar was a better choice to fill the open space in our home. We have an open concept living room/kitchen/dining room. This playbar fills the area with rich wide range sound whether it is watching TV shows, movies or playing music. Playbar has a wider dynamic range then the Beam.

What some people don't realize is that this is way more than a soundbar. It is a gateway into the Sonos system.
