    Sound quality is great, would give it 5 stars but I’m having a hard time connecting it to my WiFi.

      Proximity to Router: Try moving your Roam 2 closer to the router during setup, as this can improve the initial connection.

      Reboot & Update: Restart both your router and the Roam 2. Additionally, check the Sonos app for any available firmware updates for your device.

      Advanced Troubleshooting: If the above steps don't help, reset the Roam 2's network settings. In the Sonos app, go to Settings > System > Network and follow the prompts to reconnect your device.

    Another item on my bucket list. I love the portable speakers. make a great ambiance at home I enjoy cooking and listen to music.

    I got the sonos e100 and then got the roam2 and it will not stay connected. I have done everything. Turns out this os a thing. I jave an s24plus amd the sonos app runs on slow motion. It sucks. I love the sound when these things stay connected. You have to be benin app for them to stay connected for ajy period of time. At least it doesnt stay connected on youtube music.

      Addressing Connectivity with the Roam 2:
      Wi-Fi Stability Check: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and that the Roam 2 and Era 100 are connected to the same network. If possible, place your router in a central location and ensure there’s minimal interference from other devices.
      Roam 2 Firmware Update: Verify that your Roam 2 is running the latest software. You can check for updates in the Sonos app under Settings > System > System Updates.
      Improving App Performance on the Galaxy S24+:
      Clear App Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Sonos > Storage > Clear Cache to improve app responsiveness.
      Background Activity Management: Ensure the Sonos app is allowed to run in the background without being restricted. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Sonos > Battery > Unrestricted to adjust this.
      Additional Troubleshooting Steps:
      Bluetooth Connection: If Wi-Fi connectivity remains an issue, you can use Bluetooth mode to stream directly to the Roam 2. To activate Bluetooth, press and hold the power button on the Roam 2 until the status light flashes blue, then pair it with your device.

    Roam 2 With Improved Connectivity

    Much easier to connect through blue tooth with dedicated switch than previous Roam model. However new Sonos app is still a bit wonky. Minor but worthwhile upgrade.

    Broke after minimal use..I'll stick to my Megaboom

    I have not had any positive experiences with this speaker. I'll stick to my Megaboom 3. 1. I have issues every single time I try to connect to this speaker. I have never been able to just connect my music as the device is always undiscoverable due to the app constantly needing upgrading. 2. This has resulted in me rarely reaching for this speaker and, after less than a year of intermittent use, it refuses to charge/power on. 3. The sound quality sucks. The output is not good enough for even my bathroom, much less other areas of my home.

    I bought 2 and paired them up for our deck. Absolutely love them. Can tell them to turn up and down or what music to play. We leave them outside and dont have to worry about them getting wet.
