Arrived in great condition, it wasn’t in the original packaging which did bum me out but the item it self was pretty much perfect just alittle dusty but nothing a quick wipe down couldn’t fix

It’s fantastic except for a few podcasts then you need to use it in Bluetooth setting when Alexa gives you the error message… then you might have to reset factory default then go through the setup or just enable the Bluetooth…

At one month old it will not turn on nor hold a charge despite attempts to reset. I thinkthey still have some bugs to work out.

It sounds like you’re experiencing a significant issue with the Sonos Roam 2. Here’s what you can try to resolve the problem:

Ensure Charging: Confirm that the Roam 2 is properly connected to a power source using the provided USB-C cable and adapter. Sometimes, a faulty cable or adapter can prevent charging.

Check Charging Indicators: Look for any charging indicator lights. If there’s no light, try a different USB-C cable and power adapter to see if the issue persists.

Reset the Roam 2: Even though you've tried resetting, make sure you're following the correct procedure. For most Sonos devices, you hold down the power button for about 10 seconds until the LED light flashes orange and white, then release.

Check for Firmware Updates: Sometimes, firmware updates can address bugs. Ensure that the Sonos app is up-to-date and check for any available updates for your Roam 2.

Try a Different Power Source: Plug the charger into a different outlet or use a different USB power source to rule out any issues with the power source itself.

Contact Sonos Support: If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, contacting Sonos customer support is the next best step. They can offer more specific troubleshooting or arrange for a repair or replacement if the device is defective.

If you're still having trouble or if there's a known issue with the Roam 2 that Sonos is addressing, our support team should be able to provide the most current information. You can learn more at support.sonos.com.

This product is ok. It's nice that it plays well with our other Sonos speakers and app, however given that I just wanted this as a portable speaker, I think I'd be better off with one of the JBL's. The sounds isn't very loud, but it is clear in quieter environments. It's size is good and the design is nice. Battery life is pretty solid, as well, and can use plugged in. Decent for the price and if you already have Sonos equipment, a good option.

The Sonos Roam 2 is an absolute game-changer! I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become my go-to speaker for both indoor and outdoor listening. The build quality is top-notch—sturdy, sleek, and truly portable. It’s lightweight and perfectly sized, making it easy to take anywhere. The sound quality is phenomenal. Despite its compact size, the Roam 2 delivers rich, full-bodied audio with impressive bass and clear highs. Whether I’m relaxing at home or having a picnic at the park, the sound fills the space beautifully. The automatic Trueplay tuning is a fantastic feature, adjusting the sound to match the environment seamlessly. Battery life is excellent, easily lasting through long days of use. I recently picked up the Sonos Roam 2 from the Best Buy in Frisco, and it has quickly become one of my favorite portable speakers. For such a compact device, the sound quality is incredible—rich, clear, and surprisingly powerful. The bass is impressive for its size, and vocals come through crisp and clean whether I’m listening indoors or outside. The portability is a big plus. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and the waterproof/dustproof design gives me peace of mind when using it outdoors or near water. The battery life is solid, and it connects effortlessly to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth depending on where I am. Setup was simple and fast using the Sonos app, and it integrates perfectly with the rest of my Sonos speakers. It’s truly a “grab-and-go” device that still delivers the premium audio Sonos is known for. Overall, the Sonos Roam 2 has exceeded my expectations in sound quality, durability, and convenience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high-quality portable speaker. The Best Buy Frisco team made the purchase quick and easy, as always.

This is a great speaker with an amazing price that has a great sound. The speaker lasts around 6 hours with charge while still providing loud noise. Its also practical because its not heavy at all which makes it wasy to carry around.

The Roam 2 does great as a Bluetooth speaker out and about or connected to other Sonos speakers to extend the sound. We move the Roam to the edge of the pool with the Sonos amp and beam outside. Great complimentary sound.

Its a small speaker that actually packs quite a punch for its size and price. I keep it in my bathroom counter and the battery life is impressive. I have only charged it once in the month that I have had it. Mileage may vary. It pairs fast with airplay or just over regular Bluetooth.

This is at the best portable wireless speaker that I’ve had yet and I’ve tried too many. Also, if you have a Sonos system, this is an absolute must have. Never miss hearing something because you can carry in pocket or to another room, outside etc. The audio quality is top notch too!!! I bought them as gifts too and they’ve been loved.

I already have three Sonos speakers throughout my home. Although there was a period of uncertainty when they did some dates for year or so ago, I have had no issues since and an ultimately very happy with my Sonos speakers system. The missing piece was a portable speaker I could take outside and continue to listen to my music while I wash the car, work in the garden, or tinker around in the garage. The sound on this speaker is fantastic!

I bought this for my patio so that my bestie and her husband and I can all watch my outdoor TV without bothering neighbors. It was easy to set up and pair with my TV and gives a better quality sound without having to turn up the TV volume a lot. I have other Sonos speakers in my house so I like that I can also use it from room to room, or while traveling.

The Sonos Roam 2 has nice sound for a small speaker. The nas is a lot stronger than other portable speakers I've had. The volume is not as loud as others, but the bad and treble are clean. I use this speaker when i travel. It is light and compact. I wish that it either an app or light bar showing the charge.

Bought this as an introduction speaker into the Sonos brand. I was really surprised about just how small it was, but it can deliver sound outside like a concert. It’s portable, cute and modern. I wish that the charging base came with the speaker.

The Sonos Roam gen 2 improves slightly over gen in terms of battery life. Sound is very similar, functionality is essentially the same. The biggest difference and one of the best moves Sonos made on this redesign was adding the dedicated Bluetooth button the back. On first gen I was constantly holding down the button and waiting for the Bluetooth to sync. It always did sync, so, nothing to note there about it NOT working. To the average person who is familiar with pairing a phone, tablet, etc. with a speaker, this was a noteworthy decision and am glad Sonos added it. Overall, a decent "open box" pick-up and integrates with the other Sonos products in our home just fine.

Sound is good for such a small speaker. Easy to connect to from Sonos app and I love the way it sinks with my other speakers, which are hard-wire connected around the house to the Sonos amp. Long battery life. I had it playing for 7 hours at a party and no problems.
