I have the soundbar for my TV and get great sound out of it however every once in a while with loud kids dogs barking whatever it's nice to be able to just turn on my portable Sonos speaker next to my chair so that I can hear what's going on the TV just a little bit better. Another added advantage is it pairs to my phone very easily so I can play it while in the garage working or in the shop working on projects.

Sono Roam2 car speaker

The Sonos Roam2 is perfect for the small car cabin as it pairs up well with my phone for very rich sound, and wide variety of music options. Maybe one day I will install a new car radio and speakers; but this Sonos Roam2 allows me to push bak that date considerably.

We used it a lot. Downside was, for some reason you need to have the Sonos app installed. It is quite sturdy. It's fun to hold. It sounds nice in or around the car.

And you can use it wirelessly via Bluetooth. You can also pair it up with the rest of your wireless speakers in a group.

The bass and depth the Sonos have over the JBL is unparalleled. The JBL may have been slightly louder but fell short in the areas that matter most to us.

I swapped the Roam SL for this one due to difficulty with setup. The sound and durability is amazing. It has lasted longer than 10 hours on a single charge.
