After much research reading reviews on what others thought I purchased the beam and mini sub for my living room. My living room has vaulted ceilings and is semi open. There is a wall between kitchen and living room but it stops where the dining room starts. Set up was easy but I had to turn the mini sub up to 10 before I realized it was working. I now have it set on 6. I’m not a big time bass person but at the same time hearing base on a tv show or movie just makes it better. I have an Arc on order for my family room in the basement. I was going to order a mini sub because of the reviews I read but now I will be ordering the sub 4 for the family room. Family room is the main place I watch tv. The mini sub will work for the living room as a casual place but I don’t think it would work for my family room where the majority of movies and sports is watched. I will likely get the era 300 for the family room too. Will not get surround sound for the living room. The beam works great in that space.

I added the Sonos Sub Mini to my setup and it made a real difference. It’s compact but fills the room with solid, tight bass that feels natural and never boomy. Movies just land with more weight, and music has a nice foundation that the soundbar alone couldn’t deliver. Setup was easy through the Sonos app, and Trueplay tuning helped it blend smoothly with my Arc. It disappears visually and still adds depth to everything I watch or listen to. It’s not earth-shaking like a big sub, but for its size and price, it punches well above its weight.

Sonos has great sound. I can still feel the base even at a low setting. It was very easy to install.

Upgraded my Sub 3 to a Sub 4. I definitely feel that there is more bass, subtle, but a deeper bass. As usual, a sleek, modern design, it looks and feels premium. It’s also quite a bit lighter than the 3, which is nice! Sonos bass is deeper and more “punchy” than the previous Samsung surround I had and a definite upgrade. Extremely easy to set up the Sub 4. I may not have figured it out yet, but I do wish there was a “sound field” to set up where one would be for music and the other for movies. My movie bass is always deeper than the music bass and I find myself having to put the bass higher when switching back to movies.

Great sound, not overwhelming base, super easy to set up. It’s just the right amount of base while watching movies and even listening to music.

Bought one of these to use with a Sonos Beam to fill out the low end - and worked great. Eventually upgraded the Beam to an Arc, but the Sub Mini still works great. Gets you those low notes in musical programs, TV shows and movies without taking up a bunch of space in your living room. Won't shake the furniture, but makes your TV sound better.

Bought as part of a surround system. Not overwhelming but good bass. The system is plug and play and easy to set up. Overall, my only complaint is there is no remote to mute or raise/lower sound. It’s all done through an app on your phone.

Actually a really good subwoofer compared to the Sonos ultra the base is rich and super deep makes anything you’re listening to sound super high-quality and immersive

Excellent sounding speaker in setup with arc ultra and era 300s. I bought stands for the era 300s from Amazon that keep them at the perfect height. Run software that sets the sound levels for all the speakers and you will not be disappointed. The sub adds that extra oomph to the sound, however depending on the situation may not be needed because soundbar does have good bass

A must have to compliment your Sono Arc. Well worth the price of admission! If you enjoy a movie theater like experience and better-quality music, don't walk, RUN to your nearest Best Buy. Easiest setup of any technological item I may have ever set up as well.

It’s small, but boy, does it pack a punch. It’s like Sonos crammed a musical Hulk into a cocktail dress — deceivingly compact but ready to smash through your expectations of what bass can do in your living room. Pair it with your existing setup and watch as your music collection gets a bass-fueled makeover. The Sub Mini takes every track and injects a shot of adrenaline straight into its heart. Bass drops are so deep, you’ll half expect to find your furniture rearranging itself in an attempt to find the source of the earthquake. And let’s not forget the design. The Short- if you’re wondering if it’s gonna be enough, trust me it is it’s amazing and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. The Long- I live in a apartment and dont have a big living room by any means. Its about a 16x18 room and i had just recently bought the beam which was very nice sounding. But the next day i got an email saying the arc was on sale for $600 which wasnt told to me when purchasing the bean. So I immediately returned the beam for the arc. I wanted something that worked great by itself. And although the beam does its more like amplifying your tv speakers, not bad but not great. I fell in love with the arc immediately its the only stand alone soundbar that checked all the boxes. But as always i end up wondering what im missing out on lol. So i started researching if im really missing out on alot or if people in apartments thought adding a sub was too much and would bother neighbors. Thats when i found out that adding a sub would really let the Arc sing. Because adding a sub lets the sound bar focus more on mids and highs. But also most people said that the sonos sub was too much. And i was finding mixed results on wether the sub mini was enough. But i came across a really good video of a well respected audio YouTuber it was a asian guy can’t remember his name. And he really broke it down with sound test and everything. I was convinced so I bought one. And it was a fantastic decision. It really opened up the Arc and made it come to life. And I was already happy with the way it sounded without a subwoofer. It’s not gonna shake the house like the normal sub does obviously. But it adds what you’re missing for instance gunshots and movies explosions things like that just sound so much better. And music boy does the music sounds so much better. It is really unbelievable how much they packed into the mini sub. I promise you won’t regret it. If you live in a large house, I would probably definitely go with the full size of. But if you’re working with a small medium, even medium to large living room, the sub mini works perfect I even have to find myself turning it down sometimes. Overall, I couldn’t be more satisfied. And I’m so glad I bought into the son of ecosystem. But be careful because once you upgrade to a Sonos system if you don’t have a top-of-the-line TV, you’re probably gonna be buying one next. Let’s just say it only took me about a month before I bought a brand new LG C5 65 inch TV to go with my sonos set up lol. I hope this helps any of you guys and if you’re thinking about it, definitely pulled the trigger.

For being smaller than its bigger brother the sub-gen 3. The mini packs a big lunch and is a good addition to any of the 3 sonos sound bars. This small package is good for smaller rooms and if you don't like over powering bass. No, I can't compare this with its brethren I can tell you that for my setup it's a good addition. Which is a Sonos arc, sub mini, amp, and Sonos ceiling speakers. And I have to say I am pleased.

The Sonos sub mini is a great addition to sonos family. Using a beam and two satellite speakers, the sub adds weight, depth and foundation to the entire system. Playing movies and music are much improved. The sub works great in a 18 x 12 room. There is no lack of bass at all. people on the fence between the mini and the full-size sub should not hesitate getting the mini and saving the extra money. Sonos may seem a bit pricey versus some other sound systems , but the performance is head and shoulders above most others.

The Sonos Sub Mini has made an amazing difference in my sound system, before having the sub, I thought my beam and two era 100’s were awesome by themselves and thought the bass that it had was good and probably didn’t need a sub. But I still wanted to see the difference so I got the sub mini just to try it out, and oh boy did it make a difference, you really do feel the sound when you add it, makes you feel more immersed, and now I can imagine not having it. along with that, it’s super easy to use and setup, as it walks you right through everything on the app.
