A: This is what I am using now and it works great!
Q: Does the mini work with the Playbar?
A: Yes. per sonos website, Sub Mini can be paired with most amplified Sonos products running S2 software. Under Home Theater, it works with the following: Arc Arc SL Beam (Gen 1) Beam (Gen 2) Playbar Playbase Ray
A: Although you are explaining that you are using in an indoor like environment, but actually a patio is an outdoor location, and the humidity will always be at a range that is not possible to achieve indoors. Therefore, I would not consider this machine to be suitable for your purpose, however, based on what I see, and the content of the subwoofer during a break down Analysis that I saw in YouTube, I think it should be able to handle most humidity, since it is mostly plastic parts, and very few metal parts that can corrode in high humidity. However, I did not see the electronic component of en cased in the specialized humidity - proof box, so I would expect the life expectancy of this to be much lower than average if you were to leave it in a patio, even though it is covered from rain.
A: This can work with those speakers if they are powered by the Sonos Amp. Worth noting, it's not designed for outdoor use.
Q: Has Sonos fixed the problem with adding the mini sub to the Beam?
A: Sonos has released updates to address connectivity and compatibility issues, including those related to pairing the Sub Mini with the Beam. However, if you're still experiencing problems, ensure your Sonos app and devices are updated to the latest firmware. If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Sonos support for further assistance. You can find help and more at support.sonos.com
Q: Will it work with Sonos arc
A: Yes. The mini subwoofer is easy to connect and significantly enhances the overall sound quality of the Arc
Q: Can I pair this subwoofer to my 2 100’s
A: I believe the answer is YES (as a stereo pair of ERA 100s but not to two separate ERA 100 zones)
A: Youll get more than enough bass from the mini....unless you want the walls to shake! If its an extemely large room, perhaps i might go bigger.

I’d just bought surrounds (era 100s) for my beam gen 2, but definitely felt it was lacking something. I was never really a bass heavy guy, but my dad convinced me that it’ll complete the system. And no joke, it blew me away. It made a huuuggge difference. People on Reddit seem to feel the same as well (which was another reason for buying). The bass is crazy, maybe a little too crazy. I rarely max out the bass (because it’s just way too much, but it’s cool to show off to other bass lovers. It also makes the center and surrounding clearer and more crisps, since there’s less focus on bass for those speakers. I don’t have a massive room (it’s about 12x12 feet), but I can definitely see this being more than enough for larger rooms as well. Don’t regret it one bit and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think you need the sub first before getting the surrounds.

Small compact size and big sound. I have the standard sub and now the Mini. For the money, the Mini is an excellent buy. I would still recommend the standard sub for larger rooms if you prefer a little more bass. I put the Mini in my kitchen island built-ins. It is completely hidden and connected to in ceiling speakers and fills the bass void perfectly!
