I have one of these paired with a Sonos soundbar and it is so incredible that I wanted to purchase another one to pair with my other soundbar! The bass and response are incredible and I very highly recommend it!

I purchased the Sonos Sub Mini, and it has made a huge difference in my home audio setup. Moving company broke my Bose soundbar so I moved to sonos. Always had connection issues with Bose and was extremely disappointed with it. After setting up the Sonos which was super easy, it immediately fired up and sounded better and i havent had connection issues at all. Excellent product!

I use them, I have two, one in my small living room and one in the bedroom, but I decided to go with the GEN four versus the mini because as I found later with the Tuning app, let the system tune itself, then just simply bring up or down the base gain as needed. Easily done in the app. But I recommend don't adjust the equalizer base level as this will adjust the whole systems base response. Rather, just adjust the sub level or sub volume, down or up as needed. These are almost invisible units that can sit in the rear of the room or in front of the room, I guess they are non-directional, but have achieved great sound in their initial placement, so great for any installation purpose. Put these in anywhere and they will sound amazing.

I have been waiting for many years to get in to the Sonos family of products. I recently and very excitedly purchased the Arc (non ultra) and this Sub 4 from Best Buy and the combo is great - but I’m genuinely surprised that no other review has mentioned that the Arc already has so much bass on its own that the Sub 4 doesn’t do much until you’ve got the settings to +3 or more. If you love overpowered bass - and many people do - this sub can deliver that.. but I like strong and smooth bass, not just over-the-top loud. In fact, when listening to music I can usually turn the sub off and have it be more enjoyable, as the Arc on its own produces such excellently balanced sound - including the low frequencies - without the subwoofer. If I were doing the sequence of purchasing again for my Sonos buildout knowing and having experienced all of this now - I would still want the sub 4, but I wouldn’t have prioritized it over getting surround speakers, like the Era 100 or Era 300 speakers. I would have got the Sub last. Now, in movies does it make a difference? Yes - especially in action sequences with explosions. But… the ARC really isn’t slacking. You’ll still have a fantastic action movie experience without the sub. I do mean really great.. there’s nothing marginal about the Arc performance on its own. In short, though the Sub Gen 4 is a great, seamless product that is a cherry on a cake type of addition, the Arc is already so good that if I were needing to add more bass I’d just start with surrounds first. Outstanding sub. So easy to install and easy set up.

The Sonos mini sub is a great addition to any Sonos soundbar! I went in to Best Buy to determine if I wanted the Sonos Sub 4 or Sonos Mini Sub. Was able to do demonstration on sound bars audio with the subs on bass and both sound very alike and not much different depending on size of room to be used in. I went with the Sonos mini sub since it was a lot less on the pocket but the Sonos Mini still was powerful enough to the room I got to setup in. Overall the Sonos Sub mini is a must buy for the price! I highly recommend this product. Especially when it is on-sale during the Black Friday Sale.

The best addition to any home theater or home audio system- Sonos ecosystem remains superior and unparalleled to any other brand I’ve experimented with. This subwoofer will bring great audio range that you could only experience in a high end movie theater or car, with the power to shake my bed if I raised the subwoofer power a few notches, the range on this product is unparalleled.

I love the sleek design. Although its placement in the room is behind some furniture. I like that its tucked away and fits nicely where we placed. The Sonos app makes control and tweaks easy to do.

I bought this Sonos Home theater subwoofer, it’s a very nice well-made product. The sound is just amazing.

This subwoofer was super easy to setup and with our smaller room it is very effective at giving a great base sound. You can tell the quality because it is not obnoxious like some of our other lower priced systems in the past.

This replaced a gen 3 sub. New non-glossy finish is really nice and now matches the Arc Ultra and ERA 300s. The connectivity issues I had with the previous gen 3 sub and WiFi 7 are gone.
