Punches above its weight class!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who appreciates both aesthetics and performance in home audio equipment, I recently invested in the Sonos Sub Mini. I am delighted to share my experience with this compact subwoofer that has not only met but exceeded my expectations. Design & Build Quality The first thing that caught my eye was the Sub Mini’s design. Its dimensions are just perfect for a living room setup, boasting what I’d call a ‘spouse-friendly design’. It blends seamlessly into our living space without being obtrusive. The build quality is impressive – it has a noticeable heft to it, indicating a well-constructed and durable unit. Sound Performance The sound quality of the Sub Mini is where it truly shines. The bass is tight and potent enough to shake walls, adding a new dimension to our movie nights. Watching films like “Top Gun: Maverick”, “Jurassic Park”, and “The Matrix” was a thrilling experience, with every explosion and soundtrack feeling more immersive. Even in family movies like “The Polar Express”, the Sub Mini brought out deep notes in the locomotive scene that we had never noticed before. Despite its powerful output, the unit has no noticeable vibrations – a testament to its solid build. User Experience Setting up the Sub Mini initially presented some challenges. However, the issue was promptly resolved with a quick call to Sonos support, who were incredibly helpful and efficient. Room Compatibility I use the Sub Mini in my living room, which is approximately 18x14 feet with an opening to the dining area. The Sub Mini fills this space effortlessly with rich, detailed bass. I highly recommend utilizing Trueplay tuning to optimize the sound for your specific room layout. Final Thoughts The Sonos Sub Mini is an excellent addition to most living room setups. Its combination of compact design, robust build quality, and exceptional sound performance makes it a standout product. For anyone looking to enhance their home audio experience without compromising on space or aesthetics, the Sonos Sub Mini comes highly recommended.

Good bass
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought as part of a surround system. Not overwhelming but good bass. The system is plug and play and easy to set up. Overall, my only complaint is there is no remote to mute or raise/lower sound. It’s all done through an app on your phone.

All the bass you need
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought one of these to use with a Sonos Beam to fill out the low end - and worked great. Eventually upgraded the Beam to an Arc, but the Sub Mini still works great. Gets you those low notes in musical programs, TV shows and movies without taking up a bunch of space in your living room. Won't shake the furniture, but makes your TV sound better.

Sonos surround
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sounding speaker in setup with arc ultra and era 300s. I bought stands for the era 300s from Amazon that keep them at the perfect height. Run software that sets the sound levels for all the speakers and you will not be disappointed. The sub adds that extra oomph to the sound, however depending on the situation may not be needed because soundbar does have good bass

Great Addition to the Sonos Beam
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sub is a great addition to your home theater setup if you have a Beam, I tried it with mine and the improvement in audio was awesome. The size is great, and the design pretty much allows it to fit anywhere. It honestly felt like a new system. The audio with the sub mini just envelops you and adds a lot of warmth to your content. I did try it out with my era 300 stereo pair and it was ok, but not nearly as big of a difference as I experienced with adding it to the Beam. I would definitely recommend this to any Beam owner.

I don’t like wires all around the house so these wireless speakers fit perfect anywhere in the room. I bought the white ones, they go excellent with my decor. I highly recommend this system. Sound and quality is exceptional.

Sub mini is definitely worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently added the Sonos Sub Mini to my setup, and it's a total game-changer. Whether it's paired with the Arc in the bedroom or the Beam 2 in the gym, the difference is clear. With the Arc, the bass depth transforms movies and music into something you can feel, not just hear. And with the Beam 2, everything sounds crisper, from dialogue to beats. Despite its size, the Sub Mini punches above its weight, proving you don't need a massive sub to get that rich, full sound. Super easy to integrate into the existing Sonos system, too. Definitely a solid upgrade for any Sonos lover out there.

Bring movies and music to life at home
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently added the Sonos Sub (Gen 4) wireless subwoofer to my home audio setup, and it has completely transformed the sound experience. The bass is deep, powerful, and clear without any distortion, even at high volumes. It makes movies, music, and games feel more immersive, giving that true theater like experience right in my theatre room. Setting up the Sonos Sub was very simple. Being wireless, I didn't have to deal with messy cables, and it connected easily with my existing Sonos Arc sound bar. through the app. The Sonos app guided me through the setup, and the Trueplay tuning feature adjusted the sound perfectly for my room. making a noticeable difference in how the bass fills the space. Despite its power, it operates quietly without any humming or unnecessary noise. It complements my Sonos Arc soundbar perfectly, creating a rich, full range sound that makes every movie song much more enjoyable. One of the best things about the Sonos Sub is how it enhances all types of content. For action packed movies, the explosions and effects feel much more realistic. For much, especially bass heavy tracks, the Sub delivers punchy lows the that make the listening experience much more dynamic. Even subtle sounds, like footsteps or low frequency background effects in movies, are more noticeable and impactful. The wireless connectivity is also huge plus. I can place it anywhere in the room without worrying about long cables and it stays reliably connected to my Sonos system. Overall, the Sonos sub is an excellent addition for anyone looking to enhance their home audio system. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fuller, richer audio experience at home.

Sonus Sub is awesome
|Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos Sub Mini has made an amazing difference in my sound system, before having the sub, I thought my beam and two era 100’s were awesome by themselves and thought the bass that it had was good and probably didn’t need a sub. But I still wanted to see the difference so I got the sub mini just to try it out, and oh boy did it make a difference, you really do feel the sound when you add it, makes you feel more immersed, and now I can imagine not having it. along with that, it’s super easy to use and setup, as it walks you right through everything on the app.

Game changer
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re on the fence about whether a smaller sub can actually deliver, let me save you the trouble: it absolutely does. I’ve been using the Sonos Sub Mini for a while now, and the way it brings audio to life is nothing short of impressive. Why It’s a Game Changer • Depth Without the Bulk: It doesn’t just add "loudness"—it adds richness. It handles the low-end frequencies with such precision that my main speakers are suddenly free to focus on the mids and highs, making the entire soundstage feel wider and more immersive. • Zero Distortion: The dual force-canceling woofers are the real deal. Even when I crank up a bass-heavy track or an action movie, there’s no cabinet buzz or rattle. It’s just clean, punchy bass. • Aesthetic & Ease: Sonos nailed the design. It’s sleek, cylindrical, and fits into the room without looking like a giant black box. Plus, the setup took all of two minutes through the app. Final Verdict Whether you’re watching a blockbuster or just vibing to your favorite playlist, this sub provides that "feel it in your chest" moment without taking over your living room. It’s the perfect upgrade for anyone looking to round out their home theater setup. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Short- if you’re wondering if it’s gonna be enough, trust me it is it’s amazing and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. The Long- I live in a apartment and dont have a big living room by any means. Its about a 16x18 room and i had just recently bought the beam which was very nice sounding. But the next day i got an email saying the arc was on sale for $600 which wasnt told to me when purchasing the bean. So I immediately returned the beam for the arc. I wanted something that worked great by itself. And although the beam does its more like amplifying your tv speakers, not bad but not great. I fell in love with the arc immediately its the only stand alone soundbar that checked all the boxes. But as always i end up wondering what im missing out on lol. So i started researching if im really missing out on alot or if people in apartments thought adding a sub was too much and would bother neighbors. Thats when i found out that adding a sub would really let the Arc sing. Because adding a sub lets the sound bar focus more on mids and highs. But also most people said that the sonos sub was too much. And i was finding mixed results on wether the sub mini was enough. But i came across a really good video of a well respected audio YouTuber it was a asian guy can’t remember his name. And he really broke it down with sound test and everything. I was convinced so I bought one. And it was a fantastic decision. It really opened up the Arc and made it come to life. And I was already happy with the way it sounded without a subwoofer. It’s not gonna shake the house like the normal sub does obviously. But it adds what you’re missing for instance gunshots and movies explosions things like that just sound so much better. And music boy does the music sounds so much better. It is really unbelievable how much they packed into the mini sub. I promise you won’t regret it. If you live in a large house, I would probably definitely go with the full size of. But if you’re working with a small medium, even medium to large living room, the sub mini works perfect I even have to find myself turning it down sometimes. Overall, I couldn’t be more satisfied. And I’m so glad I bought into the son of ecosystem. But be careful because once you upgrade to a Sonos system if you don’t have a top-of-the-line TV, you’re probably gonna be buying one next. Let’s just say it only took me about a month before I bought a brand new LG C5 65 inch TV to go with my sonos set up lol. I hope this helps any of you guys and if you’re thinking about it, definitely pulled the trigger.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ah, the Sonos Sub Mini, or as I like to call it, “The Little Subwoofer That Could”. Picture this: a tiny, unassuming cylinder that could easily be mistaken for a fancy, modern vase. Except, instead of holding flowers, it holds the power to rock your world, quite literally. Unboxing the Sub Mini is an experience akin to finding out your quiet neighbor is actually a secret DJ. It’s small, but boy, does it pack a punch. It’s like Sonos crammed a musical Hulk into a cocktail dress — deceivingly compact but ready to smash through your expectations of what bass can do in your living room. Pair it with your existing setup and watch as your music collection gets a bass-fueled makeover. The Sub Mini takes every track and injects a shot of adrenaline straight into its heart. Bass drops are so deep, you’ll half expect to find your furniture rearranging itself in an attempt to find the source of the earthquake. And let’s not forget the design. It’s so sleek and unobtrusive, you might lose it if it weren’t for the seismic waves emanating from its core. It’s like Sonos asked a minimalist monk and a nightclub owner to design a subwoofer, and thus, the Sub Mini was born. Now, for the elephant in the room — or should I say, the elephant not in the room? Because you’ll be looking around, wondering how such a small device is producing sounds typically reserved for its larger, more cumbersome cousins. It’s like bringing a water pistol to a gunfight and finding out it shoots laser beams. In the end, the Sonos Sub Mini isn’t just a subwoofer. It’s a statement. A statement that says, “Yes, I like my bass deep and my furniture not vibrating off the floor.” It’s perfect for anyone who wants to feel their music in their bones without turning their living room into a nightclub (unless that’s your vibe, no judgment here). So, to wrap up, the Sonos Sub Mini: small stature, big personality, and an even bigger sound.

Awesome little guy.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For being smaller than its bigger brother the sub-gen 3. The mini packs a big lunch and is a good addition to any of the 3 sonos sound bars. This small package is good for smaller rooms and if you don't like over powering bass. No, I can't compare this with its brethren I can tell you that for my setup it's a good addition. Which is a Sonos arc, sub mini, amp, and Sonos ceiling speakers. And I have to say I am pleased.
