I have Sonos throughout my house including 2 covered porches. The app has been a challenge to use over the years but is getting better. That’s the only down side to Sonos as the speakers have great sound and this sub is no exception. For a single room it is perfect. Great sound for music and tv. Can’t go wrong with this one. I have the full size sub in my open kitchen, dining, family room area and it is almost too much. The mini would have sufficed in this 1000 sf space, it’s that good!

The Sonos Sub Mini is an excellent compact subwoofer that delivers impressive bass performance. Its dual 6" force-canceling speaker drivers provide deep, room-filling bass that greatly enhances your music and movie experience. The Sub Mini integrates seamlessly with other Sonos speakers, allowing you to easily create a powerful home theater or multi-room audio setup. Its sleek design and compact size make it suitable for any room, while its wireless connectivity ensures a clean, cable-free aesthetic. Despite its small size, the Sub Mini packs a punch, adding depth and richness to your audio without overpowering the mids and highs. It's perfect for those who want to enjoy enhanced bass without the bulk of a larger subwoofer. The Sub Mini is a versatile and high-quality addition to any Sonos system.

Sounds great !! Do your research. I was told I could connect two of these to the soundbar. You can’t! However, after the Geek Squad transferred me Sonos, that rep explained everything, had me adjust the sound through the app and the mini is perfect! I’d also recommend the Era 100’s for the surround sound.

Perfect fit for my room. Got a new 85" tv and needed better quality sound for sure as it's a big area.

I have a Sonos system on the lanai and added this little gem. I was trying to decide between upgrading some speakers, or adding a sub. I couldn’t believe the difference it makes! I paired with a Beam soundbar and Play1’s (Arc and full sized sub indoors on the TV) and it made a HUGE difference in depth and quality of the music. Love it, wish I’d have added it before! If you’re on the fence between adding a sub, or upgrading speakers, I’d recommend the sub. Sonos has done a lot to make adding speakers much easier. I’ve had a Sonos system from the time they originally came on the market. Setup before was difficult and speakers had to be paired after power outages, software upgrades, etc. This literally was a case of plugging it in, letting it initialize, and then adding it to my system in the App.

Game changer in the Sonos ecosystem. Originally bought just the arc ultra and got the Sub separately. It completely changes the audio dynamics and allows for the soundbar to handle solely mids/highs while the sub handles the low end. Dolby Atmos on this thing is incredible

I have an Arc Soundbar and two One SL as surround speakers and it sounds great, it just lacked the kind of bass a true subwoofer can provide. After reading all the review of the standard Sub, I had serious concerns it would be overkill. While not completely enclosed, my main watching/listening area is only about 160 sq ft. So I decided to wait for a scratch and dent or try and pick up a refurbished one. Also, $700 + dollars is a lot of money to spend on a sub IMO, just sayin. So if you were on the fence about the full size sub, either over price or for fear of an out of balance sound like I was…I assure you, THIS is your solution. The EQ lets you dial up or dial down the bass so my set up will handle old school Miami bass just as good as Nirvana or a classical piece. I added the Sub using the app in about ten minutes after updating the firmware and even found one open box that was in perfect condition so paid 10% to 15% below retail, but feel it is a very good value even at Retail price. I would recommend each of the components I mentioned on their own, but when you integrate them, and use the app to “Tune” the system to your seating position…it is truly impressive.

I purchased Sonos speakers as a quick solution to my home surround sound. I replaced wired Klipsch tower speakers for Sonos wireless speakers and have not been disappointed. Great speakers for amazing sound in any space. Highly recommend.

The missing link for a humble Sonos setup

This is the missing piece I've been wanting for years. As expected a smaller, less expensive subwoofer made by Sonos was more than enough for my small - medium living room. I don't even have the bass dialed up more than 1 or 2 points from it's default settings and it rocks. I have this paired to a 1st gen Sonos Beam and two IKEA x Sonos Symfonisk bookshelf speakers. I've had this surround setup for almost two years and with the Sub Mini added, everything is better. More surround sound depth, better speech clarity which is something I was considering replacing the Beam to achieve. Now I just feel like I'm missing Dolby Atmos, but this setup sounds incredible. Highly recommend doing the Trueplay tuning again after you update the Sonos app and the system to the latest version. Also, just a general recommendation for anyone new to Sonos with a setup on WiFi-only. If you've got mesh routers like Eero, Google WiFi, Linksys Velop, etc and experience dropouts, I HIGHLY recommend the Sonos Amp to alleviate interference and allow the Sonos system to operate on it's own "network". I haven't had a single issue since I added the Amp. Sonos is not a cheap ecosystem to get in to but in my opinion the simplicity, reliability, sound quality and expandability over time is unmatched.

I loved it! You get what you paid for. It’s expensive but worth it. I bought the beam and the sub and it’s not too loud. I had bought another one and I had to put the volume up and then the *boom* out of nowhere. This one is perfect. However, I must note there is no remote and it’s only done through the phone. There are pros and cons to that…

This thing hits so hard and low. Way better than the 10” klipsch I had previously. No idea why you’d need the Sonos Sub. Mini is louder than I need in a large sized room. Coolest product I’ve seen in long time with beautiful design and dual facing drivers. Mini looks good. Sub is so ugly in my opinion.

The Sonos Sub Mini is a fantastic subwoofer that delivers impressive bass in a compact and stylish package. It's a perfect complement to smaller Sonos soundbars and an excellent choice for those seeking to enhance their home audio experience without sacrificing space. In essence, if you're looking to add depth and dimension to your Sonos audio setup, especially in a smaller living space, the Sub Mini is a worthwhile investment.

Calling this a mini sub is hilarious. Not only is it objectively physically large but the bass…. Oh the bass. I have this paired with an Arc Ultra in a medium sized living room with vaulted ceilings and, with EQ set at 6, it FILLS the room with bass. I often need to turn it down so it doesn’t upset the dog. Unless you have a huge space or want an absolutely overwhelming amount of bass, you do not need the full sized sub. This is enough to literally overdo it in most settings. The bass is completely distortion free, even when maxed out, and deep. It shakes my whole couch. Absolutely fantastic when both movies, shows, and video games. I was super skeptical when looking at the price point for all the Sonos stuff but now that I have it, I get it. It’s that good. It’s worth the money. Once you have this you’ll realize - there’s no going back. It’s a total game changer (pun intended).

Wanted some extra intensity for Super Bowl 2026 and let me tell you, my guess are still raving about the sound of the game and half time show. It’s so good, seriously. If you can afford it. GET IT!! I have the middle size bar and 1 mini sub.
