The subwoofer in combination with an ARC Soundbar is a game changer. We can finally understand the dialogue when watching TV. The install is super easy and another benefit is also that all speakers now are on one system in Sonos, so one selection plays the music or TV to all speakers without having to select them individually. Love that as well!

I have had the Sonos beam for a few months and was really happy with that, but then I explored the idea of getting a subwoofer because I've heard that subwoofers really help in creating a better atmosphere for watching movies and of course provide punchy bass when listening to music. I don't have a large area so that's why I went with this sub mini and I got to say it's definitely worth adding to a home theater system. The Sonos beam already in itself had good base to where a subwoofer isn't needed but a subwoofer definitely elevates the immersiveness and overall enjoyment from watching movies. Depending on how much base you want and what your preferences are, you can adjust how loud it is and the way I have mine adjusted is perfect because it's not overbearing or too loud. But also when it's needed you can definitely feel it. And it's very accurate to where it doesn't. Just sound like you put a subwoofer in your living room. It genuinely creates an amazing sense of immersiveness to where and some movies I have to question whether it's the subwoofer going or if there's a thunderstorm. Overall, this is an amazing addition to a Sono soundbar

Excellent bass, though a bit expensive. I was able to find an open box - good item which worked perfectly, just had a little scuff on the side, which is very insignificant given the way I have it positioned. But the quality of the bass with the arc ultra and 2 100’s as surrounds is absolutely incredible. There are some adjustments you can make for the bass via the app, and I personally increased the bass output to +5 since I love that added bass for movies and shows I watch on the D+ app. And setting everything up via the app was seamless and a breeze.

Premium sound, premium product all around. Looks elegant and can’t say enough how much we love it! Worth the price.

Absolutely necessity for my Arc Ultra. I was literally in the middle of testing the Arc Ultra with Alien: Romulus when I activated the subwoofer. My room started rumbling. It was night and day. We have a smaller living room so the Sub Mini is the perfect size for our situation.

Easy setup and pairs easily with Sonos ERA 100. Adds some low end sound, but not overpowering and consistent with size of speakers.

The quality of sound that comes from the Sonos Sub Mini Wireless Subwoofer is second to none. I have owned audio equipment from other top end brand names, and I would say that they are matched, if not outdone by Sonos. Whether watching a movie or listening to music, you can expect those exceptional bass tones from this subwoofer. I would highly recommend this equipment for your small to mid-sized room applications. Highly satisfied.

This is just what Sonos needed in their line up. Perfect for a bedroom or medium sized living room. Paired this with a beam Gen 2. The sound is great and there’s zero distortion. Just nice clean tight bass. Music and movies sound great. The Sonos sub gen 3 is an amazing sub, but would be overkill for my needs. This is perfect and looks like no other sub I’ve ever owned. Typical Sonos quality. Sleek and modern.

I bought this subwoofer to replace a massive subwoofer on a fully AVR system. While I haven’t tested this subwoofer to its maximum volume, it doesn’t seem to have the ability to rattle my neighbors windows, but it is extremely consistent and creates the perfect sound for whatever media I’m experiencing whether it is music, television, movie, or games.

Great sound! Bass is ambient, this thing projects filling the entire room. Set up and adding to the other speakers was simple and easy.

I have Sonos throughout my house including 2 covered porches. The app has been a challenge to use over the years but is getting better. That’s the only down side to Sonos as the speakers have great sound and this sub is no exception. For a single room it is perfect. Great sound for music and tv. Can’t go wrong with this one. I have the full size sub in my open kitchen, dining, family room area and it is almost too much. The mini would have sufficed in this 1000 sf space, it’s that good!

Sounds great !! Do your research. I was told I could connect two of these to the soundbar. You can’t! However, after the Geek Squad transferred me Sonos, that rep explained everything, had me adjust the sound through the app and the mini is perfect! I’d also recommend the Era 100’s for the surround sound.

I have a Sonos system on the lanai and added this little gem. I was trying to decide between upgrading some speakers, or adding a sub. I couldn’t believe the difference it makes! I paired with a Beam soundbar and Play1’s (Arc and full sized sub indoors on the TV) and it made a HUGE difference in depth and quality of the music. Love it, wish I’d have added it before! If you’re on the fence between adding a sub, or upgrading speakers, I’d recommend the sub. Sonos has done a lot to make adding speakers much easier. I’ve had a Sonos system from the time they originally came on the market. Setup before was difficult and speakers had to be paired after power outages, software upgrades, etc. This literally was a case of plugging it in, letting it initialize, and then adding it to my system in the App.

I have an Arc Soundbar and two One SL as surround speakers and it sounds great, it just lacked the kind of bass a true subwoofer can provide. After reading all the review of the standard Sub, I had serious concerns it would be overkill. While not completely enclosed, my main watching/listening area is only about 160 sq ft. So I decided to wait for a scratch and dent or try and pick up a refurbished one. Also, $700 + dollars is a lot of money to spend on a sub IMO, just sayin. So if you were on the fence about the full size sub, either over price or for fear of an out of balance sound like I was…I assure you, THIS is your solution. The EQ lets you dial up or dial down the bass so my set up will handle old school Miami bass just as good as Nirvana or a classical piece. I added the Sub using the app in about ten minutes after updating the firmware and even found one open box that was in perfect condition so paid 10% to 15% below retail, but feel it is a very good value even at Retail price. I would recommend each of the components I mentioned on their own, but when you integrate them, and use the app to “Tune” the system to your seating position…it is truly impressive.
