I’m extremely happy with my Sonos Sub 4 Wireless Subwoofer. The sound quality is outstanding—deep, rich bass that transforms movies and music and adds a whole new level of immersion. Setup was quick and easy via the Sonos app, and the sleek design fits perfectly into my living room décor.
This subwoofer integrates flawlessly with the rest of my Sonos system and truly enhances the listening experience, whether I’m watching a movie or enjoying music. Even at high volumes, the bass remains powerful and clear without any distortion. Definitely a premium product that delivers on what it promises. Highly recommend to anyone looking to take their audio system up a notch!

Upgraded my Sub 3 to a Sub 4. I definitely feel that there is more bass, subtle, but a deeper bass. As usual, a sleek, modern design, it looks and feels premium. It’s also quite a bit lighter than the 3, which is nice! Sonos bass is deeper and more “punchy” than the previous Samsung surround I had and a definite upgrade. Extremely easy to set up the Sub 4. I may not have figured it out yet, but I do wish there was a “sound field” to set up where one would be for music and the other for movies. My movie bass is always deeper than the music bass and I find myself having to put the bass higher when switching back to movies.

I recently upgraded to the Sonos Arc Sub 4, and it has completely transformed my home audio experience. The sound quality is phenomenal, with crystal-clear dialogue and immersive surround sound. The subwoofer delivers deep, powerful bass that you can feel, making movies and music incredibly engaging. Setup was a breeze, and the sleek design fits perfectly with my living room decor. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their home theater.

If you're looking to take your home audio setup to the next level, the Sonos Subwoofer is a fantastic investment. It delivers deep, room-filling bass that transforms music, movies, and gaming, bringing a whole new dimension to sound. The difference is immediately noticeable—richer tones, powerful lows, and an immersive experience that makes every listening session feel cinematic. Setup is effortless, thanks to wireless connectivity, and the sleek design ensures it fits seamlessly into any space. While it’s a premium product, the upgrade is well worth the cost for anyone serious about high-quality sound. A game-changer for any Sonos system!

We purchased this sub as an add-on to our Sonos Arc Ultra. We deferred purchasing it until it went on sale and we could use the points from our Sonos Arc Ultra purchase make some weeks before. While the Sonos Arc Ultra is good without the sub, the sub takes it to another level when listening to certain video content or music.
You have to install / add the sub through the Sonos app and I had no problems doing so. There is a lot of flexibility in terms of where the sub can be placed. I would recommend placing it facing you but it can even be placed under a couch if you have sufficient room.
Note the sub only works with an existing Sonos soundbar.

The price is a bit steep. I bit the bullet and got the sound bar and sub on Black Friday Deal. AllI can say is WOW. By far the best sub i have ever heard. It doesnt vibrate the whole house. No, its classier than that. It fills the room with a much more elightening form of bass. I’m amazed.

One Gen 4 Sub is an absolute beast. Two of these and youve got some even bass throughout your room, especially if its a dedicated room for your sonos home theater. For me, I have low ceilings, even square room with two Gen 4 subs. One by the TV and the other in the back of the room, facing the couch. I immediately popped in a 4K UHD of Blade Runner 2049 and the hair on my skin was standing up and I had the Harry electric Home Alone haircut going on. Like I said, one is amazing, two is so EVEN!

This one takes my music experience to the next level. I paired it with Beam 2 . Best part is that I can keep it hidden somewhere behind the couch. Absolutely love it.

When I saw that I could not only add a second sub to my Sonos Arc Soundbar, but also have a Gen 4 SUB, AND get it for the same price as a Gen 3, I jumped at the chance! It evened out the bass response of my room, and made the bass even more effortless than it was to begin with. It was easy to add it to my Sonos Home Theater setup. Just like with the Gen 3 SUB, the Gen 4 is very solidly built, and I have never heard it struggle or bottom-out trying to reproduce the lowest bass notes, much less any port noise. Both the Gen 3 and 4 punch WAY above their weight class. And that is saying something coming from someone that has owned Miller & Kreisel and Klipsch subs!

This is an incredible sub! I also happen to have the Nakamichi Shockwafe. This Sonos has a similar room filling base, but it’s connectivity is where it really shines. Nakamichi uses wireless technology to connect, but it often cuts out. You also get stray base rumble. The Sonos is just perfectly connected clear, clean sound. The base is everything you could want from a single dub. It can also lay on its side, and it’s small enough to tuck under our bed. So it’s completely out of sight. This is overkill for a bedroom, but movies in bed with the Sonos surround, are next level awesome, if you’re a stepper!!

Amazing bass from such a compact and beautifully designed subwoofer. Vibrates a little with louder more intense bass, but I'm probably pushing it a little! 99% of the time, it is amazing

Excellent bass, though a bit expensive. I was able to find an open box - good item which worked perfectly, just had a little scuff on the side, which is very insignificant given the way I have it positioned. But the quality of the bass with the arc ultra and 2 100’s as surrounds is absolutely incredible. There are some adjustments you can make for the bass via the app, and I personally increased the bass output to +5 since I love that added bass for movies and shows I watch on the D+ app. And setting everything up via the app was seamless and a breeze.
