Purchased with other components to make a surround system for our living room. Yes the subwoofer is absolutely necessary! You won't be sorry you paid a little extra for Sonos.

Initially I bout it because is was $100 off and looked good. I had no idea the fantastic sound it give out. I will consider a second one if it drops in price again.

Deep, deep punchy bass...

A must have if you're in the SONOS Ecosystem, like myself. A must have if you have a SONOS Soundbar. I don't regret one bit buying it, even thou it's very pricy...

Value added addition!

I was apprehensive hairy spending $600 towards a sub, but in the end it was totally worth it. The sound upgrade my system got with this sub is out of this world.

You Should add the sub!
