I bought a second Sonos sub for my home theater. If you have a small room or even medium size room, I’m not sure you gain anything with the second one. If you have a big room to fill, then I definitely recommend having two. I have a fairly big house so now I have four subs total It really helps fill the Sound stage

Sonia Subwoofer Power!

He loves it! He can add as much bass as he wants when he watches movies.

Now you can run 2 of these if you want (have to have at least one of them as Gen 3). I am impressed with how crisp and deep this unit is.

Sonos Sub

The sub is really loud and does a makes action movies sound a whole lot better. Although I don't think that it should be worth $700 dollars.

Xcellent wireless sub

But it was totally worth it. It totally changes the sound of the whole Sonos system.
