This subwoofer went on sale on black friday 2024. It was the only thing missing from my Sonos setup. I snagged it immediately when I saw the sale. This enhanced my sound system tenfold. I am in love with my new Sonos Sub! Cannot say anything negative about it.

After having the Playbar for 5 years I decided to move that to my bedroom and get an Arc for the living room, along with the sub and rear speakers (One sl). The sound quality and interface are still beyond what I would expect out of a wireless HiFi system. No matter where I place this sub I get the same crisp clear sound. I have actually had to set the sub volume to -5 from nominal volume because it is such a powerful unit. I will always recommend Sonos systems to anyone who asks my opinion on home audio. People who have heard my setup have purchased Sonos for themselves afterwards.

Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but if you’re in the Sonos ecosystem, it’s a must buy. I’m a big gamer and film guy. Both experiences have been massively enhanced. I’m not an audiophile, but the bass feels plentiful. When I listen to music, I’m not disappointed as well. I initially started with an arc and the sub addition made a substantial difference.

The sonos sub is a great addition to the sonos arc. I purcahsed both on sale and so glad I did. Amazing bass that is not distorted or muffled. Punchy and strong are words I woukd l use to describe the sound. And its so easy to set up. I love listening to music and watching movies now that I have a great surround sound. Sports are fun towatch too. Excellent sound system!!

This rounded out the Sonos beam and Sonos ones. This is a beautiful and great sounding subwoofer. I invaded my Wife’s space with aesthetics and great sound. I highly recommend this subwoofer. I think my Wife is good with this too. I can’t say enough about the ease of set up and the sound. An Earc HDMI cable out of the TV to the Sonos beam, four 120 volt outlets to power each speaker and your done with wiring. The Sonos app onboard speaker tuning “Trueplay” works very well to balance the speakers’ sound. I think It’s pretty obvious I’m extremely happy.

Subwoofer looks not only stylish, but also has a great weight to it. Subwoofer can you put out a hefty low bass. I did have to turn it up a bit because of my area in the room is larger than most rooms, but once adjusted it plays really good. For a sound bar and subwoofer combination they were really well together.

I waited and waited and when I finally bought the Sonos Sub the first thing I thought was "why did I wait so long?!?" Adding this to my existing Sonos system is ridiculously easy and once tuned and leveled to my preferences it sounds AMAZING. Definitely a must have to complete your sound system. You will not regret it.

Coming from a 2003 Bose Life Style 5.1 Surround Sound System, the Sonos Arc as the main for my TV was a jump up in quality. If you are looking at these sort of sound systems, you are looking for the best sound, for the least cost, taking up the smallest amount of space. You are not burning dollars chasing minute increases in detail or frequencies. Having said that, I use the Sonos Arc for watching movies on a tv. I wanted surround sound, or something that could mimic surround sound, or something I could upgrade in pieces to surround sound. Did not want a complex setup. Just a quick and clean system with minimal parts. Sonos Arc did the trick. I particularly love the Night Mode (to crunch levels). You really cannot hear the booms or the laugh track breaking out or anything really even from just outside the room, pressed up against the door. You can now watch things at night without having to keep juggling the volume and rewinding trying to catch all the dialogue and trying not to wake anyone up. Now I know this review is for the Sonos SUB. I write this because I had the Sonos Arc for awhile now and I wanted to upgrade and add more pieces to the system. I was stuck between getting the rear surrounds or the sub. After too much research I went with the sub. Although I have yet to try the rears, I am SO GLAD I did. The sub made it feel like I got new speakers. Yes of course there is the extra punch and you can now feel the bass. But the Sonos Arc sound even clearer and better than before. Not just the bass but across ALL RANGE. Not sure how. So even for movies, the SUB made me feel like I upgraded the Sonos Arc as well. Granted, this is all said in a vacuum where price does not exist. Unfortunately it does and even for all that it does, it is still ridiculously expensive. But if ease of use, it's design language and reliability are added value to you, then it will definitely be worth it. If cost is not an issue I cannot find an issue for recommending this.

This sub quite the performer. On the first night I got it, I maxed it out listening to heavy bass trap and edm and I was blown away. My wife could hear it from the street, and I gave myself a headache haha. I would recommend messing with the EQ via the SONOS app to adjust volume level daily use. As someone who is not that tech savvy when it comes to audio, I appreciate the ease to set up the sub especially not having to deal with cables. In conclusion, it's a expensive sub, but a great performer; however, I would recommend getting it on sale if possible. Since the installation was easy, it might be worth it for you

One of the best subwoofers you can buy on the market and it goes great with my Sonos Beam soundbar... The best surround sound system addition! Great sound quality, extremely easy wireless setup and link to soundbar with the app, and all around great item. My only complaint is the price... I believe it should cost slightly less than the $699 price tag (luckily I had a 10% off coupon with my Best Buy Rewards premier membership, so I saved $70)... But other than the price, if you are willing to swing that amount for your sound system, then you will enjoy the product!

Sub sounds amazing! Connection is a breeze and since it uses the home wifi it doesn’t rely on a direct 2.4ghz connection to the sound bar. I replaced an older LG unit because the sub kept skipping out on me from interference. My only worry is that my kid will put a toy into the middle and it’ll go down into the box. A simple mesh cover would have avoided that completely! So far so good though.

Purchased this as an open box to go along with the Sonos Arc soundbar. The base is crazy and really adds to the system we now have. Really glad we added this. It sounds as if we are at the theatre. The glossy finish makes it look like a piece of furniture. Set up was easy and not a big deal for a tech challenged guy like me. I would absolutely recommend this as an addition to the sound system for the full effects it offers.

I had another sub woofer with the other soundbar system, but I was very skeptical for satellite sub woofer; I have not felt any additional bass sound from it. And I could not understand other people's review on this Sonos Sub, because I thought that it would be the same like other sub woofers. But I was totally wrong. It is really adding the full bass sound. I could turn it on/off from Sonos App, and I can tell the difference. If you have any Sonos soundbar, like Sonos Arc or Beam, this is the definitely must-have item.

I bought this to finish out my ARC and surrounds system and I ended up returning them, because at that price point I wanted to be a bit wowed. I wasn't wowed - but I dont think it was necessarily the fault of the Sonos system. I have an odd room to put it in and I just dont think the system was meant for odd shaped rooms, but rather square of rectangular rooms with flat ceilings (mine is half-vaulted). As far as this bass module goes, I was able goes - the set up is incredibly easy and having the ability to move it around until you get the best sound in any part of the room is great, however this is a heavy speaker and is very well built. It's also finger-print and smudge prone because it's shiny surface. Sonically, I was underwhelmed. No matter where I placed the speaker, I just longed for more bass. I see some folks have opted for 2 of these for their system and that just seems too expensive.

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to try our products! We really appreciate it. We have a feature built into our app called trueplay tuning that solves this problem exactly. All you need is an IOS device and about 2 minutes per room, to tune your Sonos speakers to the environment that you're in! john.milton

I was in a dilemma if I wanted a sub. Sonos Arc by itself has enough bass for a small to midsized rooms. But I wanted more and my living room is kind of open plan. This sub can rock the place! Not in a bad way but the bass is very smooth and blends well with the arc! Movies are much better and the songs are extremely cool to listen to. If you have the space, go for it and you would not regret it. And it looks so cool too!

If you are creating a home theater experience, you have to add this to your Sonos Arc system. I like that it's wireless and can be placed anywhere. I have it right next to my sofa and after Tuning it, I couldn't tell that the Sub was right next to me. The low end sounded fantastic without any distortion. I had to turnt he bass down to negative because it was giving off so much punch
