Better than Gen 1
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought Gen1 sub with Beam last month. Upgraded to Arc and decided since spending that kind of coin, might as well upgrade to Gen 3 and future-proof. Sounds a tad bit better than Gen1 - still able to shake the room with earth-shattering high-quality lows, but just a touch more volume on the low end (think normal watching-tv-everyday) with an overall more natural/balanced sound. Supposedly the internals as Gen1 are exactly the same, so it must be down to either firmware or upgraded processing power; either way, Gen1 was no slouch at all but Gen 3 is a subtle, but welcome improvement. Still too expensive for a sub, but at least you get what you pay for - internals are high-quality, exterior is tightly finished and packaging is minimal but effective - Sonos could easily be Apple's twin brother

Sonos Sub
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Sonos Arc soundbar after we replaced our TV. Old TV had good sound, but new one sounded hollow, so made the move to buy a soundbar. Was using the soundbar for a few months and read reviews on the Sub, which prompted me to buy. So glad I did. It's added richness and deep sound. Super easy setup, even me being non-technical could do it on my own, just following the simple instructions and going thru the prompts in the app. Just amazing quality, very much love. Also bought two Sonos One surround sound speakers for a whole room setup to add to the overall experience.

Superb bass
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Subwoofer looks not only stylish, but also has a great weight to it. Subwoofer can you put out a hefty low bass. I did have to turn it up a bit because of my area in the room is larger than most rooms, but once adjusted it plays really good. For a sound bar and subwoofer combination they were really well together.

Yes, you should buy it!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited and waited and when I finally bought the Sonos Sub the first thing I thought was "why did I wait so long?!?" Adding this to my existing Sonos system is ridiculously easy and once tuned and leveled to my preferences it sounds AMAZING. Definitely a must have to complete your sound system. You will not regret it.

The perfect bass
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sub is perfect. It reaches truly deep lows instead of the "punches" lower end subs offer. When cranked to it's highest setting, it is enough to create vibration on things I don't want to hear. I used padding on the metal to metal connections I have to dampen the sounds. At the same time, it's not so loud as to be annoying. It seems to contain its bass to the room it's in as well. If you're in an apartment you would probably still annoy your neighbor, but you're safe if you're in a traditional home. It's also small, economical, and easy to set up (and even move to different rooms).

If you're all about that Bass... you need this
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already had the Sonos Arc. So this was to just give it a little extra punch. I loved it so much I bought 2. Words can not describe the feeling of this sub and how it makes music so much fun and might I add soulful to listen to. If you love action as much as I do it does amazing! I feel like I have the helicopter right over me, or that I'm on the train with the subtle wheel noises rattling under foot. It's amazing and worth every penny. It also has an amazing look that everyone who see's it comments on how cool it looks and then I get to show it off, and they are blown away!

Added a 2nd Sonos Gen 3 Sub
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow!! Incredible balanced sound. Better than any movie theater in town. Last year I purchased the Sonos Arc sound bar, 2 100s and one Gen 3 sub. This year I treated myself to a 2nd Gen 3 Sonos Sub. Unbelievably the base and clarity the entire system delivers. I’ve had many sound systems in my lifetime. Sonos has perfected it and by far the best. Not cheap in price. But in the end it’s worth the experience it delivers to your living room. Ez setup. Highly recommend this system.

Great Boom For the Buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having the Playbar for 5 years I decided to move that to my bedroom and get an Arc for the living room, along with the sub and rear speakers (One sl). The sound quality and interface are still beyond what I would expect out of a wireless HiFi system. No matter where I place this sub I get the same crisp clear sound. I have actually had to set the sub volume to -5 from nominal volume because it is such a powerful unit. I will always recommend Sonos systems to anyone who asks my opinion on home audio. People who have heard my setup have purchased Sonos for themselves afterwards.

Started with Sonos Arc, Added Sonos Sub Gen 3
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a 2003 Bose Life Style 5.1 Surround Sound System, the Sonos Arc as the main for my TV was a jump up in quality. If you are looking at these sort of sound systems, you are looking for the best sound, for the least cost, taking up the smallest amount of space. You are not burning dollars chasing minute increases in detail or frequencies. Having said that, I use the Sonos Arc for watching movies on a tv. I wanted surround sound, or something that could mimic surround sound, or something I could upgrade in pieces to surround sound. Did not want a complex setup. Just a quick and clean system with minimal parts. Sonos Arc did the trick. I particularly love the Night Mode (to crunch levels). You really cannot hear the booms or the laugh track breaking out or anything really even from just outside the room, pressed up against the door. You can now watch things at night without having to keep juggling the volume and rewinding trying to catch all the dialogue and trying not to wake anyone up. Now I know this review is for the Sonos SUB. I write this because I had the Sonos Arc for awhile now and I wanted to upgrade and add more pieces to the system. I was stuck between getting the rear surrounds or the sub. After too much research I went with the sub. Although I have yet to try the rears, I am SO GLAD I did. The sub made it feel like I got new speakers. Yes of course there is the extra punch and you can now feel the bass. But the Sonos Arc sound even clearer and better than before. Not just the bass but across ALL RANGE. Not sure how. So even for movies, the SUB made me feel like I upgraded the Sonos Arc as well. Granted, this is all said in a vacuum where price does not exist. Unfortunately it does and even for all that it does, it is still ridiculously expensive. But if ease of use, it's design language and reliability are added value to you, then it will definitely be worth it. If cost is not an issue I cannot find an issue for recommending this.

Sonos is a home run!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This rounded out the Sonos beam and Sonos ones. This is a beautiful and great sounding subwoofer. I invaded my Wife’s space with aesthetics and great sound. I highly recommend this subwoofer. I think my Wife is good with this too. I can’t say enough about the ease of set up and the sound. An Earc HDMI cable out of the TV to the Sonos beam, four 120 volt outlets to power each speaker and your done with wiring. The Sonos app onboard speaker tuning “Trueplay” works very well to balance the speakers’ sound. I think It’s pretty obvious I’m extremely happy.

Booming bass!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sub sounds amazing! Connection is a breeze and since it uses the home wifi it doesn’t rely on a direct 2.4ghz connection to the sound bar. I replaced an older LG unit because the sub kept skipping out on me from interference. My only worry is that my kid will put a toy into the middle and it’ll go down into the box. A simple mesh cover would have avoided that completely! So far so good though.

Sonos Subwoofer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as an open box to go along with the Sonos Arc soundbar. The base is crazy and really adds to the system we now have. Really glad we added this. It sounds as if we are at the theatre. The glossy finish makes it look like a piece of furniture. Set up was easy and not a big deal for a tech challenged guy like me. I would absolutely recommend this as an addition to the sound system for the full effects it offers.

Great addition to my Sonos Beam soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best subwoofers you can buy on the market and it goes great with my Sonos Beam soundbar... The best surround sound system addition! Great sound quality, extremely easy wireless setup and link to soundbar with the app, and all around great item. My only complaint is the price... I believe it should cost slightly less than the $699 price tag (luckily I had a 10% off coupon with my Best Buy Rewards premier membership, so I saved $70)... But other than the price, if you are willing to swing that amount for your sound system, then you will enjoy the product!

Sonos Sub
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This subwoofer is very powerful and extremely easy to setup and pair with the soundbar through the app. The fact you can put two of these with one soundbar is wild. I did not, just fyi. You can adjust the bass through the app and you will be plenty happy.

Must-have item if you have Sonos soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had another sub woofer with the other soundbar system, but I was very skeptical for satellite sub woofer; I have not felt any additional bass sound from it. And I could not understand other people's review on this Sonos Sub, because I thought that it would be the same like other sub woofers. But I was totally wrong. It is really adding the full bass sound. I could turn it on/off from Sonos App, and I can tell the difference. If you have any Sonos soundbar, like Sonos Arc or Beam, this is the definitely must-have item.
