This is a new unit, replacing a larger Polk 12" sub. Like the Sonos Arc it's mated to, the setup was trivial; took maybe 5 minutes. The sound is very clean, music and movies. I did do some experimentation with location and have left it in its current spot for 4-5 days. No issues, just trying to get it 'perfect'. The look is quite nice; shiny piano black finish. A polish cloth comes with it...not kidding. The wife thinks she can stand it in her living room...yay! Very pleased, great sub.

Beautifully designed, the SONOS SUB (Gen 3) is the perfect addition tot he SONOS ARC. This makes a huge impact in the quality of the sound when paired with the SONOS ARC. There's no denying it adds an excellent low-frequency depth, ranging from subtle bass anchoring to serious deep bass thunder, and the SONOS app lets you easily adjust bass levels without leaving your seat. So while the price is high, the results are undeniably excellent.

Awesome Subwoofer. Powerful, wireless, and beautiful. This is the best sub I've every purchased. Paired with the Sonos Play Bar.

After hearing the Arc and Sub in the BestBuy store and compared it to other soundbars, the difference was clear. I ordered an Arc along with the Sub....and also a Move. The installation and wifi connection was very straightforward. The sounds for both music and video is amazing.I have an older Bose surround sound system and the Sonos sounds is every bit as good. I have also found the Sonos app to be very user friendly. I was also very impressed with the quality and design of the packaging the products come in.

This subwoofer is very powerful and extremely easy to setup and pair with the soundbar through the app. The fact you can put two of these with one soundbar is wild. I did not, just fyi. You can adjust the bass through the app and you will be plenty happy.

Outstanding sound quality from a very small footprint device. I look forward to each new Sonos piece I add to the overall system. Very easy to setup and so many features beyond a simple sound system. The app is incredible and the customization is nearly endless.

Adding a second sub to my system instead of upgrading to the arc ultra from an arc. 2nd sub completes the system. Room fills with bass now.

Wow!! Incredible balanced sound. Better than any movie theater in town. Last year I purchased the Sonos Arc sound bar, 2 100s and one Gen 3 sub. This year I treated myself to a 2nd Gen 3 Sonos Sub. Unbelievably the base and clarity the entire system delivers. I’ve had many sound systems in my lifetime. Sonos has perfected it and by far the best. Not cheap in price. But in the end it’s worth the experience it delivers to your living room. Ez setup. Highly recommend this system.

Get it! Just get it! Get it! I’ve been in AV for 20 yrs - so many technical things I could say... but I’ll spare u since they would only culminate in me saying 1 thing.. Get it! Worth every penny.

I purchased the ARC soundbar from Sonos last year with a couple of surround speakers......the system performed well but lacking some punch in the low end. Decided to add this Sub to the system and it's exactly what I was looking for.... it fills the room with the lows and actually enhanced the midrange sound from the soundbar.I am very pleased with this purchase and am now enjoying wonderful sound for TV, Movies and Music!

This sub woofer is so powerful I have to put the level on -2 . The base is still thumping ! Great quality and when the technician installed my system ( told me I needed the Sonos 100 speakers for surround sound and a wireless speaker for my Patio.) I can’t wait to get surround sound in my family - room !

Sonos Gen 3 sub is perfect and amazing fills any large room with all the low frequencies needed. You feel every bit of bass with music and movies. Bring the home theater experience to your Home.

If you want to have the ease of setting up a Sonos sound system, you'll need this Sub. It definitely handles the lows, and you can customize the settings you need for where you live. Having this along with the Beam and two One SL speakers makes the surround sound experience enjoyable. From setup to (again) customization of your settings, this is a system that is highly recommended if you want a truly wireless setup and great sound. It's worth the investment.

Love this sub! I’ve tried other brands before Sonos and I’m by far more satisfied with this! It really thumps! It’s so easy to set up, the wireless connectivity is super convenient and it looks awesome. Really makes my Arc sound even better.

I purchased this to add base to my Sonos Playbase and Sonos One SL tv surround system. WOW! the bass on this unit rattles the walls! I had no idea it would be that strong. It does require a bit of volume to be fully effective but even at low volume certain shows or commercials let you feel the vibration. The speaker connected very easily and is easy to adjust. I recommend it even though it seems quite expensive for a subwoofer that can only be used with Sonos.

Superb low end bass, amazing compact design! I have two in the living room & one in my family room. The house shakes when watching a movie or playing Games!

First of all, Best Buy is just excellent is providing the best customer experience. I got proved once I again right as to why I should buy my tech from Best Buy. They delivered well before they said they would- classic aha moment when you realize you got your product 2 days earlier. The packaging was neat, no damage and all the material came inside. The sub gen 3 from Sonos is the real deal. It brings us close to the theatrical experience but at the comfort of our home/ room. After adding the sub, I can feel all the low-end rumbles and reverb very clearly which I wouldn't notice otherwise. I was shocked when I watched some movies with the sub. They sound completely different, powerful, full, clear with the sub (soul-less without any sonos equipment). The sub is expensive but a MUST in sonos ecosystem especially if you have an arc. I would recommend getting sub first over the surrounds. I am going to BestBuy soon to get my bigger TV now that my Sonos makes my TV small lol.

Easy to set up using the Sonos app. You can adjust the sub sound on your sonos app. It's important to have the sonos app especially when you have multiple sonos speakers. The sub woofer made a huge difference in the sound quality with the play bar and 2 sonos ones. Sounds like you are in a movie theater! EXCELLENT PURCHASE! Don't wait, buy it at the start with everything else! Definitely recommend.
