After listening to music on small, mono, voice assistants and headphones...bass is back in my life! It adds so much to the listening experience, exactly as it should. The bass is not overwhelming, sounds like it is coming from the corners of the room, but is all coming from a good looking Sonos Subwoofer. Awesome!

This thing is a beast, and I feel like I haven’t used it to it’s fullest capacity yet. Only get bets better with other Sonos products. Clean, crisp bass, that envelopes a room. No shaking, no rattling, just pure sound. Looks awesome too, and I love that you can easily move it around anywhere in the room. Sounds awesome no matter where it sits.

Love the Arc + Sonos bundle together. Replaced in-ceiling speakers + Klipsch 8" sub with this bundle. It creates very full sound for our family room with multiple directions. The base in the sub is extremely deep perfect for sports, movies, or any streaming content. The voice assistant is very handy at changing the volume without a remote control. The app is very easy to use to stream your music, but as an Apple user, Airplay 2 is a game changer. I hardly every to into the sonos app for basic functions. I now looking at adding onto the system to create sound around the entire house including patio. Well worth the money!

This sub completed my surround sound set up. It really feels like I’m in a movie theatre when watching movies. It works wirelessly so less wires and easy set up with the rest of my Sonos devices.

This sub woofer gives you a refined deep clear bass with no rattling sound that compliments with the sound from the Arc. Another beauty added to my living room. I went for Bose and returned the sub woofer twice due to rattling sound from the surround. I've had this for close to 2 months now. You can't go wrong with Sonos

My 1 week experience with the Arc/Sub

So I have had the Gen3 Subwoofer for about a week now. To premise this, I received the Sonos Arc at the same time, so I cannot comment as to the difference between the standard Arc and the sub over time. However, I did run a quick test of the Arc before adding the sub and can definitely say that the sub makes a noticeable difference in quality and immersion. I was previously running a Samsung 5.1 HN soundbar with wireless sub and thought the sub there did a good job of hitting the deep lows. However, it always seemed muddy and imprecise. This is not the case for the Sonos sub. Here when events in movies get loud, the sub increases in volume but still manages to maintain accuracy and a crisp sound. Definitely avoids being muddy and sounds great. It also definitely allows for the Arc to hit its mids and highs without being burdened by the low end. Overall, the two together are a great match and the sub was simple to set up and connect. I do think the sub is necessary if you are any sort of sound aficionado, which you probably are since you are spending this much money on audio equipment. I don't think the Arc by itself would be adequate in immersion in any sort of larger room. That being said, this was a quality purchase. Now I need to save up for the surrounds! Unless I edit this review, you can assume I am loving my Sonos system!

Very powerful. I use the lowest level and I feel the vibration. It makes such a difference during movie nights. It makes it way better than just the sound from the TV.

You can now pair 2 subs with a Sonos beam and I bought this as a 2nd. My system is for a new Samsung 85” q90a. It’s an awesome set up. Watching “Dune” is like a holy experience. The whole room shakes at times. If you’ve never used Sonos equipment before, you’ll be amazed how easy the setup is and the quality is top tier.

This subwoofer should rate 10 stars. Wow! I was blown away at the ease of setup with the subwoofer, Beam, and rear Sonos One speakers. It has truly turned our living room in to a theater. The subwoofer fills the room with deep rich base. The beam keeps the main audio centered in the front and the rear Sonos One speakers add to the overall encompassing sound.

What a powerhouse! We have a sonos sub + beam setup in our basement and were so in love with it that we had to get a second system for our main living room. This makes movie watching and even just simple music listening so much more enjoyable with rich bass sounds. It’s a little spendy but you won’t regret it.

Packs a punch despite its smaller size and unconventional shape/design. Great for smaller rooms or when you don't want to have any wires showing since this is a wireless sub that nicely connects to the Sonos soundbar with optional wireless surround speakers.

Got this to complete the Sonos Arc and while the sound bar already has a decent bass, this sub is getting you cinema level sound. Do not use in apartments. It is also very stylish.

Bought the sub to complete my Sonos surround system (also have Sonos Ones and Sonos arc). The Arc by itself was great, but adding this and the surrounds? Wow! Setup is easy with the app, as is adjusting it. Plus, I know I can add another (and will soon)! Boom! Pricey? Yes. Does it work great? Yes! Worth the money! Plus it looks cool.

Excellent sub. Connects easily with the other Songs products I have. Makes a big difference to the sound of my system. Fills the room with a rich deep sound that wasn't there before. Would recommend to anyone who has a Sonos system, but has not yet bought a sub. Its a game changer.

If you are into the sonos ecosystem, then this bass is a much needed addition to the arc. The response and deep bass is by far the best subwoofer I have owned. I am very impressed at how there isnt a delay in sound since the sub is working through wifi connection. The downside to the bass is the insane price and tbe fact that you are being drawn further and further into the sonos ecosystem. The only way to adjust the bass is through the sonos app, which is annoying after awhile. Especially because I can control the soundbar via tv remote, but I have no access to the bass via remote. Overall, great addition to the arc and brings movies and videos to life.

This thing is not cheap but it sounds amazing! Super clean bass and tons of it! No more muffled boomy bass. This thing kicks you in the gut when a gun goes off and it looks great too! Sonos just added an update where you can add 2 subs to the arc now so I’m hoping to get another one!
