I added the Sonos Sub to my Sonos Arc soundbar and it has made a remarkable impression in terms of sound quality. To give some context, i got Sonos Arc SB a year prior and it was fairly good as a standalone SB for a year , however post adding the Sub. The base is incredible, i recommend first thing you should do after pairing up is watching Mad Max Fury Road - Junkie XL Music, that will test all the aspects of SB and Sub. I think this is just perfect for the movie watching experience as mostly all the new streaming services support Dolby. May be in a year i might go for a 2nd sub for more sound.

I am really enjoying this subwoofer so far. The set up was very easy using the Sonos app and even though the base is surprisingly good on the Arc, this makes a significant difference, especially when listening to music. The quality "feel" of this unit and the fit and finish also did not disappoint.

I returned my ARC, so I didn't need the sub. This sub is fantastic! Well designed, integrates with no issues, fantastic performance. If Sonos made this sub in a wired version for use with non-Sonos products I would buy one in a heartbeat. Tight bass, isn't boomy, looks great.

I don't know how but this sub sounds awesome and you don't know what size woofers are in it and it looks like a nice piece of furniture/décor for the home..My only drawback is the price this thing cost as much as the soundbar or even a soundbar system but if you can get past that this is a must have

Crucial addition to any Sonos system. I have this Gen 3 paired with a Sonos Beam and it completely transformed the listening experience. I also have a Sub Gen 2 paired with One SLs and this is a great combo as well. The Sub is definitely pricey but worth it.

Subwoofer is like oxygen in the air. You don't notice it till it's not there. Sonos Sub Gen 3 takes that spirit to another level. Just absolutely subtly soothing & penetrating ... Best features: it's wireless, wifi-connected & all app-based controlled.

Great deep bass from a soundbar subwoofer

This subwoofer is on the level of JBL 9.1, samsung q90r, and klipsch cinema soundbars. It is a great quality sub which i feel hits nice and smooth. Comparing to samsung soundbars, sonos hits deeper and has more “feel” and texture to the bass rather than just boomy or only “hearing” the bass like samsung does. Jbl 9.1 comparison - the jbl is on par with the sonos for sure. They both hit deep, and you can “feel” the bass. However, the JBL sub is more wooly sounding, and not as consistent. It loses focus more often, so you just hear messy, sloppy bass at times and it can over-power the sound of the movie and show. Sonos is much tighter and cleaner. Klipsch subs hit deep but require tuning (if youre i to that) in order to blend well with the system. Once dialed in klipsch sounds great - however it to can over-power the sound of the movie or show your watching which poses an issue. Sonos did a great job with this sub and i am happy to own it.

Great sub, though a bit pricey. The cost premium is a no-brainer if you’re in the Sonos ecosystem. Tune play makes it really easy to ensure the sub sounds great in most places you could put it. The output is adjustable depending on your needs. I love that it’s not an eyesore.

The Sonos Sub is an absolute game-changer when it comes to audio experiences. Its addition to my Sonos setup has elevated the sound quality to new heights. The deep, rumbling bass it produces is nothing short of phenomenal, adding a whole new dimension to music, movies, and games. Its seamless integration with other Sonos speakers creates a truly immersive surround sound that engulfs the room, making every moment feel like a live concert or a high-definition movie experience. The Sonos Sub isn't just an accessory; it's the powerhouse that completes the audio setup and delivers an unparalleled audio journey.

I bought the entire sonos surround system but received the Arc first. While I was impressed with the sound and bass, the bass became so much more immersive and impressive once I connected the Sub! Wow!! I dare say that my entire Sonos system sounds better than a movie theatre because of the control I have over the bass, treble, sub, surround, and overall volume! (Our living rooms are obviously smaller than a theatre room so that helps the bass sound boomier and surround sound more apparent.) Regardless of the reason, this sub has impressed me with movies and music. It produces a clean bassy sound that will have all your friends wondering where the sound is coming from (my sub is in a corner of our living room next to our furniture which hides it). I simply cannot describe how great this sub is. It’s something you’ll just have to experience in your home to know. Well worth it!

I got the Sonos Beam just a few months before this, and with such a good soundbar it was fair to not have the bass with it. Its ridiculous how good the soundbar and bass sound together. I love bass in my movies and music, and this system delivers amazing clarity and bass. Not to mention the DTS and DTX effects add the extra "where tf did that come from?" Wow factor. I love it. The app and connecting part can be a bit tricky sometimes, and the lack of support for android in order to calibrate the sound even more is a bit dissapointing. But thats a minor issue for me, id still buy it again - no questions asked.

Honestly has to be one of the best soundbar systems that I have ever bought. I bought the Sonos Arc soundbar along with (2) Sonos Sub Gen 3, (2) Sonos One SL. They are super easy to connect to each other and they sound great.

This product is expensive and it is loud, but the sound quality is very impressive. Just be aware that if you get this it is going to make your television sound a lot louder during action sequences especially. You will think you have it set to a normal volume, but then there will be a bombing or gun fight on the show you are watching and it will get so loud that the wall shakes. That is not a criticism, it does exactly what it is supposed to do and it does it very well. It is a warning however that if you can't have the volume loud this is probably not the product for you. If you like having the volume loud with the best sound quality possible however then this is absolutely a great product. I have it paired with a Sonos Arc and two Sonos Ones in the rear and I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best sound system I have ever heard in my life.

Awesome sub, maybe the best I've ever owned. Great deep bass, simple hookup and easy to synch. Don't be scared away by the price it's worth every penny. Paired this with the new ARC and a pair on One SL speakers. Incredible surround sound for the TV and amazing music. Highly recommend!!

Went from Sub Mini to Sub Gen 3 with the Arc

I originally purchased a Sub Mini to pair with an Arc and two surrounds in a large family room with high ceilings. The Sub Mini seemed to just be ok in that size room so I returned it and purchased the Sub Gen 3. Sounds so much better. I do have the Sub Mini paired with the Beam Gen 2 and a couple of surrounds in the bedroom and that sounds great too. If you have a big room go with the Sub Gen 3. If it's a smaller room you can probably get away with the Sub Mini. Both were great purchases.

A nice addition to my SONOS home theater system

I added a Beam and a couple of One SL's in my study/exercise room (about 12'x12'), and I used an early Christmas present from my sister to splurge on the Sub. It really boosts what was already pretty good sound for the little "home theater" I had set up in there. The quality of the Sub's build makes you realize it’s worth the high price, and the sound is perfect. The key is to never be aware of the subwoofer, just be aware that the bass is richer, and that’s exactly what you get here, with a fairly effortless set- up. The SONOS app takes care of that. I wish there were more explicit step-by-step directions, but I had it working and all synched and tuned in less than 30 minutes. Very impressed!

Pairing this with the Sonos Arc is a MUST! When this went on sale for Black Friday - with the Arc - I snagged it immediately - paired with a L3 G3 with Dolby Atmos - is just mind blowing! Prior to receiving it I purchased a high end HDMI cable for the eARC connection - BAD IDEA as it wasn't communicating with this Sub - Called Sonos - they had me use the HDMI cable they provided (which I didn't realize came with the unit) and immediately - the sub came on and you could feel the bass in the entire room. If you are buying the ARC - you need to go all in with the Sub - you won't be disappointed.
