No power cord

Frustrating

Terrible Software

First it must have a LAN connection to operate at all. That makes no sense, this is a speaker system!! And when it loses its LAN connection, which it does fairly often, it quits working. I have an eero mesh router and 1 gig fiber optic LAN into my house, so that should not be a problem. Second, it is supposed to be a Google speaker. That only works intermittently??? All this tells me that their software is buggy which takes away from being able to listen to a quality sound system.

Crystal clear sound

I finally decided to take the leap after taetimg the sysyem several times in Best Buy and listening to different types of music. I’m so glad that I made the decision to buy the system because the sound is incredible, it is easy to set up, and it seamlessly integrates with everything. I wish I would’ve purchased it sooner.

Fantastic bass
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to pair with my Sonos Arc and it makes a world of difference. I think the Arc is mediocre on its own but with the Sub it becomes great. I got a Sonos Sub Mini at the same time and tested them both out. While the Mini was very good and more affordable, this is an even better speaker. The Mini seemed like it was trying too hard, and I could more easily pinpoint where the bass was coming from. This bigger sub provides a smoother, richer, more encompassing sound. Its bass is effortless and wraps around you. You feel it in your chest. While occasionally I've had pairing issues between my phone and Arc that caused me to wipe the system and start over again, I've had no issues between my Arc and Sub. Its build quality seems fantastic and, while large, it looks nice. It does show dust easily with its glossy finish though. Overall, expensive but great sub that dramatically elevates the Arc.

Fantastic Addition to my Sonos Atmos Soundbar

The sounder sounds pretty good on its own but not fantastic. This subwoofer pushes the Sonos Atmos Soundbar from pretty good to AMAZING!. The low rumbles shake the concrete slab foundation in my home. Even the theme songs for shows sound so good and are so rich because of this subwoofer. Well worth the cost to the system, don't hesitate. I've not had a single issue with it or the system. It stays connected (wifi), is responsive and sounds great.

Both have good sound , but , choose the larger unit given the room space I have and the power it has ; either Sonos sub is top quality , very happy with this product.

Beware you need to use the Sonos App to setup and control the sub. The app allows you to increase and decrease the bass (and surround speakers), No problem making the room rumble if you choose.

Sounds amazing

All I can say is that the set up is really easy and everything just works. I bought mine open box so I had to reset it as it wasn’t syncing with my Arc but other than that 15/10 would definitely recommend. I should have gone with this from the beginning instead of the Bose. The bass is so much better than the Bose. The whole living room shakes but things don’t rattle. It’s like the bass is a lot tighter than the Bose Sub 700. I placed the sub behind my couch, in the corner and it feels like at the movie theater. Get it, you won’t regret it!!

Why did I wait?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was the final addition to my family room surround system comprised of the Arc and a pair of One sl’s acting as rear surrounds. Although the Arc has a reasonable bass capability, it now has tremendous bass response with the addition of the Sub! I retuned the system using the Sonos app and the whole system is even better than before. This is most likely due to relieving the Arc from the total bass reproduction spectrum. Placement of the Sub is extremely flexible as to location and orientation. You can even lay it flat! Addition to the system was truly simple through the app.
