Unreliable and Overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having used Sonos speakers for a year now, I can confidently say that they are incredibly unreliable, and for the money spent, this is simply unacceptable. Sonos promises a seamless wireless listening experience, but the reality is far from it. Despite their marketing claims, these speakers struggle to maintain a stable connection, making them more of a hassle than a luxury. Connection Issues From the very beginning, I faced constant connectivity problems. Whether it was connecting to Wi-Fi or maintaining a stable connection during playback, the speakers consistently failed. It’s incredibly frustrating to start a song only to have it cut out halfway through because the speaker can’t stay connected. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested by Sonos support, but nothing has resolved the issue. It’s disappointing to pay a premium price for a product that can't deliver on its most basic promise. Setup and Software Problems The initial setup was a nightmare. The app is supposed to guide you through the process, but it’s not as intuitive as it should be. Frequent software updates often lead to more problems than solutions. After each update, I hoped the connectivity issues would be resolved, but they persist. Instead of enjoying music, I find myself constantly fiddling with settings, restarting devices, and reconnecting speakers. Performance and Sound Quality When the speakers do manage to stay connected, the sound quality is decent, but it doesn’t justify the price tag. There are other speakers in the market that offer similar or better sound quality at a lower price point. The intermittent connectivity severely affects the listening experience, often leaving me frustrated rather than entertained. Customer Support Dealing with customer support has been another disappointment. They are polite and try to be helpful, but ultimately, they have not provided a solution to the ongoing connectivity issues. I’ve spent countless hours on calls and chats with no real resolution. It's clear that these issues are inherent to the product and not isolated incidents. Conclusion After a year of giving Sonos speakers every opportunity to prove themselves, I can definitively say that I will never buy these products again. They are unreliable, overpriced, and fail to deliver on their core promise of a wireless listening experience. I have warned friends, family, and anyone who will listen to avoid Sonos. For the money spent, one would expect a high-quality, hassle-free product, but Sonos has proven to be the opposite. Save your money and avoid the frustration by looking elsewhere for your audio needs.

Unbelievable at first but then 14.12 update.......
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first this sub was a 10/5! I bought this to pair with my Sonos Arc and one surrounds. The system was awesome! I have it all running through a 65 inch LG C1 and the entire experience was out of this world, truly amazing. I've always been a huge A/V person and this set up was out of this world, I was very happy with my entire A/V setup for the first time in my adult life. Then the update happened...... The dreaded 14.12 update. Yes it helped the Arc and I can hear the improved sound stage on the Arc, that was good. The bad on the 14.12 was it completely rendered my Sub Gen 3 all but useless compared to what it was. I cannot stress enough how bad it is, its to the point that if a fix isnt put in place by Christmas (Oct. 2022 now) I will be selling all of my Sonos products and moving over to a Bose 900 with a 700 sub. I feel bad for anyone who is new to the Sonos sub after this update. If I was new to Sonos and paid $750 for this current version (14.12 update) I would return my sub and go with Bose. Anyone who experienced the pre updated version of the Sonos Sub Gen 3 knows what I am talking about. Anyone who is thinking of going with Sonos and the Sub Gen 3 I would advise to hold off until you can verify that a fix has been put in place. Sonos touts their "trueplay" for the Sonos systems and I will say it works wonderfully. Having said that in order to utilize the full potential of the Sub Gen 3 you must disable trueplay (disabling most of the benefits of all these updates). Trueplay is a must for this system, you really have to have it enabled (and go through the tuning process) to take advantage of the full potential of the arc and surrounds. Unfortunately, trueplay basically renders the sub useless. Those of us who know the pre update sub know what I am talking about. Sonos, what are you waiting for? At this point if this isn't an "all hands on deck" situation over there at Sonos do you really care what your customers think? I've been on the chats and read the dozens of disgruntled threads. What are you all waiting for? Is a fix even being worked on? Can we at least get an update on what's going on? Sincerely, disappointed

Posted .Thank you for your review. Please update your Sonos system to the latest software which was released on October 18th, 2022. This update is 14.18. This update addresses bug fixes and performance enhancements, including a fix for an audio quality issue that reduced Sub output for Arc, Beam, or Ray when paired with a Sub or Sub Mini while Trueplay was enabled.

Sub bumps
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This lil sub bumps. When i first hooked up my system it was all high no bass. When i paired the sub it was AWESOME! I was impressed with the bass. You do have to get used to the Sonos system but once you do its great sound with no wires.

Buy the sub. You won’t regret with Sonos setup!

Sounds good but expensive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I added this sub to my system. It sounds way better than before. However, I'm not sure it's worth it. Not sure if I can use a wired alternative or not. I'll keep evaluating this over the next week and come back an adjust my review here if my opinion changes. Sonos does make really great stuff. The app is great.

Ok Addition
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a cool addition to the system but not needed to make the system great. The sound bar with two Sonos Ones is all you need for a regular living room. It is cool to have though!

Poor Quality and Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased late June ‘21 from Best Buy. Started crackling within a month. Long service process for replacement. Sent a refurbished unit even though I purchased new. Replacement unit now has no power. Out of patience. May just junk unit and sell rest of my Sonos equipment. Arc and Move sound great otherwise, as does the Sub when working.
