Pump up the bass
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sub Gen 3 is a great option for a Sonos Arc. The Arc by itself has okay bass output, but really struggles at higher volumes. The Sub Gen 3 takes that workload off the Arc and allows the Arc to shine at what it does best, My only complaint is the cost, but if you are looking at a Sonos setup, you likely already justified your cost of entry.

Amazing addition to the Arc
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlocks a different level of clarity from the Sonos Arc. I highly recommend it. If you own an Arc you know it's already very clear with any source playing through. However, the difference between the Arc pre Sub is substantial as the Arc now sends all low end signals to the sub, allowing it to reallocate processing power to ever other frequency. As for the Sub, it sounds amazing. We have it place about a foot away from the corner behind our couch and it feels the room, easily.

This sub will make your house shake!! GET IT.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This by far is the best subwoofer I have ever bought, period. I was hesitant initially on purchasing a sub at this price point, however the quality of delivery, paired with the Arc Soundbar, and supporting surround sound speakers make it incredible. Extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Awesome thump, no bump
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sub is awesome for a home entertainment system. It puts out great bass without shaking the room. You feel the bass without the windows rattling, if that makes sense. If you are already committed to Sonos then why not splurge and get the whole package? Paired with the Arc and sitting directly behind the couch it nealy launched my mother-in-law out of her seat during the first big scene in No Time to Die. I plan to buy a second for the other room.

Booming bass fills in the Arc and Eras nicely
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is excellent, bass is booming even compared to the Klipcsh it replaced. Easy to hook up and pair with the other speakers. Price was somewhat on the high side for the quality, but the features make that cost easier to swallow. Was purchased as a package with the Arc and a pair of Era 100’s.

Sonos Sub is the perfect addition
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a large Living Room where we have the Sound Bar plus 2 Sonos 3 speakers as the surround sound with the bass all the way turned up. The system can handle the volume but with the bass set at 100% the bass can sound distorted during peak moments in a movie. So i decided to purchase the wireless subwoofer which is the perfect addition. I set the bass to 50% on the entire system and it really thumps now. With half of the bass set the system does not sound like its being overutilized so the entire movie experience AND sound quality is fantastic.

Movie nights are so much better!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos Arc is great by itself but after hooking up the Sonos subwoofer….WOW!!! What a difference! It literally takes the listening experience to a whole new level. It’s like both units work off of each other so well that now I’m hearing things from the Arc that my ears weren’t picking up on until I installed the subwoofer. While certainly not cheap it’s money well spent. It makes watching movies with the family at home that much more enjoyable having that movie theater sound right in the comfort of our living room.

Worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So at first like others, I didn't think it really made a difference but boy was I wrong. Yes it's expensive but it's like no other. No distortion or rattle and I'm literally blown away by how deep, clean and clear it sounds. I thought before I had a good setup and I did, but now with sonos ones and the beam it's a complete set that doesn't take up too much space and sounds amazing. As long as you have good wifi that doesn't drop out much, it's well worth the investment.

Great addition to existing system
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Sub. Went for about two months with the Beam and two Ones in my somewhat large living room and was on the fence on whether or not to add the Sub as the system sounded great. Adding the Sub noticeably improves the richness of the sound and fills the room completely. Super easy to install if your system is in place (took only a few minutes). Downside is that it's expensive, but if you've already invested in parts of the SONOS ecosystem, then you should get it as it rounds out the whole investment quite well.
