Of course when they started - they were magical - streaming music wasn't even a thing. But amazingly they have stayed true to mission - and some 15 or so years later are still class leading. Premium quality product with a premium price - sort of like Apple. To the sub - goes deep, loud - flawlessly. Connect wired or wirelessly to your other Sonos devices, and blends in audibly and visually in your room. Is it expensive? Of course! Worth it - you bet.

Powerful CRISP Bass!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having this subwoofer is almost a must have (if you have the money for it). The added quality of bass is ridiculous. The bass you get with this added is not distorted at high volumes. It also isn't simply the type of subwoofer that can make a room shake. It provides a type of richness to the bass quality that I frankly have not experienced before. Although sonos products without the subwoofer do have appreciable high quality bass that allow them to stand on their own, adding this product really does take your setup to the next level.

It kicks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did have a Bose 700 w/sub & the Sonos ARC w/sub knocks it out of the park. Very easy setup to get things going. Plug & play basically.

Must Have
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive went back and forth on getting the sub for a couple years now. After a couple minutes into using it with my Sonos Arc, i have no idea how ive lived without it! The Sonos app makes it so easy to fine tune the bass in a way thats not overwhelming but yet its enough to free up the Arc to play more high and midtones

Boom boom
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to let everyone know that the Sonos experience is seamless and I also paired this with the Arc. When these two are paired they give you a true Dolby Atmos movie experience. The base in this thing is killer, it will absolutely immerse you in gaming, or whatever nedia you choose. This is a no brainer decision.

Amazing depth of sound!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was super hesitant to spend the amount of money that is required to pick one of these up, but boy am I glad I went for it! This sub has changed the entire dynamic of my home theatre, the depth of sound that comes from this little sub is simply incredible. I have this paired with a Sonos BEAM and it is amazing. I plan to next round out the system with two Sonos Ones and have the full experience. I highly recommend to anyone on the fence about this, I promise you it is worth the money.

The final piece of the puzzle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Already had a Beam and 2 One SLs so I needed this to round out the bottom end and get some more bass for music and movies. Sounds good and can get loud enough to annoy your neighbors without distorting. Good upgrade but very pricey. It is two woofers in a good looking unique design though. Overall happy with the purchase

Sonos Sub
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchaed the Arc soundbar, paired with sub. Sound is impressive and cutting the cord was amazing. I did not have have a great space for wireless surrounds so i opted to add the amp with wired sonance in ceiling speakeers. Really turned out well with a super clean look! Highly recommend.

Welcome to the future
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own the more modern Samsung and Sony powered subs. I still own my Velodyne passive sub and I would love to use it, but you just have to add so many wires and additional amps . . I thought I'd give this a try rather than invest in the Sonos amp (another viable option). It does well when paired with my Arc sound bar. It passed the litmus test last night. My wife asked me to have it "thump" less when I watching an action movie. Like the piano black finish. Very pleased.

It’s good enough. Expensive.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this paired with two Sonos One speakers for music in a fairly large room. (Living room that opens up to kitchen/dining room). At first I was underwhelmed by this sub. I had much louder and deeper and just as musical subs maybe 15 or 20 years ago. But after I turned off TruePlay the bass volume improved and I am satisfied. I had to turn the treble up a bit on the Sonos Ones to compensate for the lack of TruePlay tuning, fwiw. The Sub gen 3 still doesn’t impress considering how expensive it is. But it’s nonetheless solidly good and it makes my enjoyment of music all the better. I also have just a single Sonos Five in a bedroom and, although I don’t use the sub with the Five, I believe it would also benefit from the sub—just not as much as the smaller Ones do, of course.

Sub sonic bass waves you can feel
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since connecting this to other Sonos products in my living room (Arc and Era 100s) watching and hearing TV/music has not been the same. A total immersive experience! Excellent sub performance with a very sleek, unobtrusive design.

Sooo good
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So good... I'm impressed... the ability of this sub to produce deep/earth-shaking bass, but at the same time produce such a clean bass tone as well. I have to admit, I didn't want to spend this much for a sub for my Sonos Beam, but after using it for a week or so now, I regret nothing. I played some music the other morning and was in awe of the experience. I'm not planning on replacing my family room sound system with an Arc and Sonos Sub. The app and the components work together like peanut butter and jelly.

Deep sound!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this sub to go with my Sonos soundbar and wow! I thought maybe I'd need a second one to really fill up my room, but this sub was enough to make my whole house shake! Incredible clean, deep sound from this sub, and very easy to pair with my Sonos system.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always enjoyed clean, rattling bass in my sound system for my car and home. I purchased the Arc and this subwoofer at the same time. All I can say is Wow! The low rumble is what I'm looking for and it's there. I've noticed bass in stuff I've never heard before. I love the CBS show Life in Pieces and never realized the bass in the end credits until now.
