What a boost to my overall living room audio. The base sound accompanies the arc ultra perfectly. This is going to make for some amazing game day and movie nights!

I have been waiting for many years to get in to the Sonos family of products. I recently and very excitedly purchased the Arc (non ultra) and this Sub 4 from Best Buy and the combo is great - but I’m genuinely surprised that no other review has mentioned that the Arc already has so much bass on its own that the Sub 4 doesn’t do much until you’ve got the settings to +3 or more. If you love overpowered bass - and many people do - this sub can deliver that.. but I like strong and smooth bass, not just over-the-top loud. In fact, when listening to music I can usually turn the sub off and have it be more enjoyable, as the Arc on its own produces such excellently balanced sound - including the low frequencies - without the subwoofer. If I were doing the sequence of purchasing again for my Sonos buildout knowing and having experienced all of this now - I would still want the sub 4, but I wouldn’t have prioritized it over getting surround speakers, like the Era 100 or Era 300 speakers. I would have got the Sub last. Now, in movies does it make a difference? Yes - especially in action sequences with explosions. But… the ARC really isn’t slacking. You’ll still have a fantastic action movie experience without the sub. I do mean really great.. there’s nothing marginal about the Arc performance on its own. In short, though the Sub Gen 4 is a great, seamless product that is a cherry on a cake type of addition, the Arc is already so good that if I were needing to add more bass I’d just start with surrounds first. Another good product from Sonos. This definitely complements the speakers and soundbar to give that theater like experience.

Purchased this with my arc ultra and era 300’s The sub4 rounds out the experience with nice deep yet punchy bass. Much more full sounding than the sub mini. Loving this subwoofer especially at the sale price!

This sub is amazing. It has truly transformed my basement into a quality audio format. Simply blow away by the sound and balance of the the sub and entire system.

I love the sleek design. Although its placement in the room is behind some furniture. I like that its tucked away and fits nicely where we placed. The Sonos app makes control and tweaks easy to do.

I bought this subwoofer to replace a massive subwoofer on a fully AVR system. While I haven’t tested this subwoofer to its maximum volume, it doesn’t seem to have the ability to rattle my neighbors windows, but it is extremely consistent and creates the perfect sound for whatever media I’m experiencing whether it is music, television, movie, or games.

Purchased a sub mini but decided I needed more power. I don’t regret!! No more movie theaters for me

I added the Sonos Sub Mini to my setup and it made a real difference. It’s compact but fills the room with solid, tight bass that feels natural and never boomy. Movies just land with more weight, and music has a nice foundation that the soundbar alone couldn’t deliver. Setup was easy through the Sonos app, and Trueplay tuning helped it blend smoothly with my Arc. It disappears visually and still adds depth to everything I watch or listen to. It’s not earth-shaking like a big sub, but for its size and price, it punches well above its weight.

Excellent, will be purchasing another one soon for greater rumbling experience.

I have one of these paired with a Sonos soundbar and it is so incredible that I wanted to purchase another one to pair with my other soundbar! The bass and response are incredible and I very highly recommend it!

This subwoofer was super easy to setup and with our smaller room it is very effective at giving a great base sound. You can tell the quality because it is not obnoxious like some of our other lower priced systems in the past.

This Sub packs a serious punch when watching movies or simply listening to music, most of the time i dont even have the settings on high because its so loud.

The quality of sound that comes from the Sonos Sub Mini Wireless Subwoofer is second to none. I have owned audio equipment from other top end brand names, and I would say that they are matched, if not outdone by Sonos. Whether watching a movie or listening to music, you can expect those exceptional bass tones from this subwoofer. I would highly recommend this equipment for your small to mid-sized room applications. Highly satisfied.

This replaced a gen 3 sub. New non-glossy finish is really nice and now matches the Arc Ultra and ERA 300s. The connectivity issues I had with the previous gen 3 sub and WiFi 7 are gone.

Sounds great !! Do your research. I was told I could connect two of these to the soundbar. You can’t! However, after the Geek Squad transferred me Sonos, that rep explained everything, had me adjust the sound through the app and the mini is perfect! I’d also recommend the Era 100’s for the surround sound.
