This mini sub is the perfect. easily tucked away if you wanted and bass is awesome! I went back and forth on getting this unit due to its underwhelming performance in the store. Took a chance since I already had the ARC. So glad I did! I would suggest Best Buy turn up the bass in store to show its full potential!

This is just what Sonos needed in their line up. Perfect for a bedroom or medium sized living room. Paired this with a beam Gen 2. The sound is great and there’s zero distortion. Just nice clean tight bass. Music and movies sound great. The Sonos sub gen 3 is an amazing sub, but would be overkill for my needs. This is perfect and looks like no other sub I’ve ever owned. Typical Sonos quality. Sleek and modern.

This is an incredible sub! I also happen to have the Nakamichi Shockwafe. This Sonos has a similar room filling base, but it’s connectivity is where it really shines. Nakamichi uses wireless technology to connect, but it often cuts out. You also get stray base rumble. The Sonos is just perfectly connected clear, clean sound. The base is everything you could want from a single dub. It can also lay on its side, and it’s small enough to tuck under our bed. So it’s completely out of sight. This is overkill for a bedroom, but movies in bed with the Sonos surround, are next level awesome, if you’re a stepper!!

Amazing bass from such a compact and beautifully designed subwoofer. Vibrates a little with louder more intense bass, but I'm probably pushing it a little! 99% of the time, it is amazing

Worth adding to a Sonos system

I wasn't sure how much of a difference this would make, but it completely changed the sound of my setup. The bass is deep without being overwhelming, and it lets my soundbar focus more on the mids and highs, so everything sounds cleaner and more balanced. Movies have more impact, and music feels much fuller. Setup took just a few minutes through the Sonos app, and once it was paired, it worked seamlessly. I also like that it's compact enough to fit into the room without drawing attention to itself. It's definitely an investment, but if you already have a Sonos system, I think the Sub Mini is one of the best upgrades you can make.

Paired this with the arc ultra soundbar and it sounds amazing. Bass is clean and location is imperceivable. Allows soundbar to focus on the highs and mids now. Very pleased with the Sonos products. They are not the cheapest but the easy of setup and sound quality is better than expected.

The best addition to any home theater or home audio system- Sonos ecosystem remains superior and unparalleled to any other brand I’ve experimented with. This subwoofer will bring great audio range that you could only experience in a high end movie theater or car, with the power to shake my bed if I raised the subwoofer power a few notches, the range on this product is unparalleled.

[Employee of bestbuy] The Sonos Sub Mini has made an amazing difference in my sound system, before having the sub, I thought my beam and two era 100’s were awesome by themselves and thought the bass that it had was good and probably didn’t need a sub. But I still wanted to see the difference so I got the sub mini just to try it out, and oh boy did it make a difference, you really do feel the sound when you add it, makes you feel more immersed, and now I can imagine not having it. along with that, it’s super easy to use and setup, as it walks you right through everything on the app.

[Employee of bestbuy] If you’re in the market for some simple high end bass this is a no brainer! This sub is completely wireless and can be laid flat or stood up. It has an appealing design and very rich and deep bass! Easy to set up and tune with the Sonos app. Go into a Best Buy store and play a demo for yourself!

If you’re on the fence about whether a smaller sub can actually deliver, let me save you the trouble: it absolutely does. I’ve been using the Sonos Sub Mini for a while now, and the way it brings audio to life is nothing short of impressive. Why It’s a Game Changer • Depth Without the Bulk: It doesn’t just add "loudness"—it adds richness. It handles the low-end frequencies with such precision that my main speakers are suddenly free to focus on the mids and highs, making the entire soundstage feel wider and more immersive. • Zero Distortion: The dual force-canceling woofers are the real deal. Even when I crank up a bass-heavy track or an action movie, there’s no cabinet buzz or rattle. It’s just clean, punchy bass. • Aesthetic & Ease: Sonos nailed the design. It’s sleek, cylindrical, and fits into the room without looking like a giant black box. Plus, the setup took all of two minutes through the app. Final Verdict Whether you’re watching a blockbuster or just vibing to your favorite playlist, this sub provides that "feel it in your chest" moment without taking over your living room. It’s the perfect upgrade for anyone looking to round out their home theater setup. Highly recommended!

Fantastic bass for a true home theater setup

Excellent bass, though a bit expensive. I was able to find an open box - good item which worked perfectly, just had a little scuff on the side, which is very insignificant given the way I have it positioned. But the quality of the bass with the arc ultra and 2 100’s as surrounds is absolutely incredible. There are some adjustments you can make for the bass via the app, and I personally increased the bass output to +5 since I love that added bass for movies and shows I watch on the D+ app. And setting everything up via the app was seamless and a breeze.

The Sonos Sub Mini is an excellent compact subwoofer that delivers impressive bass performance. Its dual 6" force-canceling speaker drivers provide deep, room-filling bass that greatly enhances your music and movie experience. The Sub Mini integrates seamlessly with other Sonos speakers, allowing you to easily create a powerful home theater or multi-room audio setup. Its sleek design and compact size make it suitable for any room, while its wireless connectivity ensures a clean, cable-free aesthetic. Despite its small size, the Sub Mini packs a punch, adding depth and richness to your audio without overpowering the mids and highs. It's perfect for those who want to enjoy enhanced bass without the bulk of a larger subwoofer. The Sub Mini is a versatile and high-quality addition to any Sonos system.

The missing link for a humble Sonos setup

This is the missing piece I've been wanting for years. As expected a smaller, less expensive subwoofer made by Sonos was more than enough for my small - medium living room. I don't even have the bass dialed up more than 1 or 2 points from it's default settings and it rocks. I have this paired to a 1st gen Sonos Beam and two IKEA x Sonos Symfonisk bookshelf speakers. I've had this surround setup for almost two years and with the Sub Mini added, everything is better. More surround sound depth, better speech clarity which is something I was considering replacing the Beam to achieve. Now I just feel like I'm missing Dolby Atmos, but this setup sounds incredible. Highly recommend doing the Trueplay tuning again after you update the Sonos app and the system to the latest version. Also, just a general recommendation for anyone new to Sonos with a setup on WiFi-only. If you've got mesh routers like Eero, Google WiFi, Linksys Velop, etc and experience dropouts, I HIGHLY recommend the Sonos Amp to alleviate interference and allow the Sonos system to operate on it's own "network". I haven't had a single issue since I added the Amp. Sonos is not a cheap ecosystem to get in to but in my opinion the simplicity, reliability, sound quality and expandability over time is unmatched.

Good subwoofer mandatory for Arc Ultra

An absolute necessity for a large room. To get the full benefit of the Sonos Arc Ultra. The sub 3 will not cut it with Sonos arc Ultra. I tried to save and had to return the 3. It is paired for this sub woofer. The design is great. The sound is very good for a sound bar sub woofer. If you think the ultra arc will cover it all without the subwoofer, you are mistaken. The sub picks up all the bass upper bass to complete the system.

I have an Arc Soundbar and two One SL as surround speakers and it sounds great, it just lacked the kind of bass a true subwoofer can provide. After reading all the review of the standard Sub, I had serious concerns it would be overkill. While not completely enclosed, my main watching/listening area is only about 160 sq ft. So I decided to wait for a scratch and dent or try and pick up a refurbished one. Also, $700 + dollars is a lot of money to spend on a sub IMO, just sayin. So if you were on the fence about the full size sub, either over price or for fear of an out of balance sound like I was…I assure you, THIS is your solution. The EQ lets you dial up or dial down the bass so my set up will handle old school Miami bass just as good as Nirvana or a classical piece. I added the Sub using the app in about ten minutes after updating the firmware and even found one open box that was in perfect condition so paid 10% to 15% below retail, but feel it is a very good value even at Retail price. I would recommend each of the components I mentioned on their own, but when you integrate them, and use the app to “Tune” the system to your seating position…it is truly impressive.
