Calling this a mini sub is hilarious. Not only is it objectively physically large but the bass…. Oh the bass. I have this paired with an Arc Ultra in a medium sized living room with vaulted ceilings and, with EQ set at 6, it FILLS the room with bass. I often need to turn it down so it doesn’t upset the dog. Unless you have a huge space or want an absolutely overwhelming amount of bass, you do not need the full sized sub. This is enough to literally overdo it in most settings. The bass is completely distortion free, even when maxed out, and deep. It shakes my whole couch. Absolutely fantastic when both movies, shows, and video games. I was super skeptical when looking at the price point for all the Sonos stuff but now that I have it, I get it. It’s that good. It’s worth the money. Once you have this you’ll realize - there’s no going back. It’s a total game changer (pun intended).

Great sound! Bass is ambient, this thing projects filling the entire room. Set up and adding to the other speakers was simple and easy.

Designed with having the (2) 6" woofers facing each other definitely creates solid bass with little to know vibration noise. It packs a punch.

Premium sound, premium product all around. Looks elegant and can’t say enough how much we love it! Worth the price.

Sonos makes a speaker with great sound at a reasonable cost. While you could easily spend two to three times as much, you would be hard pressed to get better quality!

Solid sounding sub with some punch. Paired with an Arc soundbar and it makes more than enough bass for our house. Easy setup as well.

The Sonos Sub Mini is the PERFECT addition to my Sonos ARC Soundbar. The Soundbar was excellent on its own but the Sub Mini elevated the sound dynamics in a way that's was only possible with a sub. It's just such a beautiful, simple and small design. It looks quite elegant as a design. It paired super easy with the ARC and my new Sony TV. The Sonos app makes it all really easy to work with and adjust the sound. It's made our movie experiences out of this world. I highly recommend buy the Sub Mini to go with your any one of the Sonos soundbars. You won't be disappointed. 10 out of 10!

I really like this sub for my medium sized room. Nice sound. Everyone that stops over says they like it also.

The extra bass completely changes the sound when playing music or watching movies. Great addition to my Sonos sound bar and satelites.

I just purchased my second Sonos Sub Gen 4 subwoofer and the additional sound is absolutely amazing. With the proper placement the additional subwoofer adds so much more tone for music and for Dolby Atmos movies. Give it a try and if you don’t like it you can always return it but Sonos tech support is absolutely fantastic in helping you with any questions or concerns you may have.

The quality of sound that comes from the Sonos Sub Mini Wireless Subwoofer is second to none. I have owned audio equipment from other top end brand names, and I would say that they are matched, if not outdone by Sonos. Whether watching a movie or listening to music, you can expect those exceptional bass tones from this subwoofer. I would highly recommend this equipment for your small to mid-sized room applications. Highly satisfied.

I don't even know where to start. Let's just say that Joe at San Bernardino knows his stuff but is always willing to think outside of the box. We put our heads together to come up with what I call the "Remote Office Home Theater". This consists of two Sonos One SL's and one Sub Mini. Wow Wow Wow! There is nothing like it in a 12x10 or 24x12 room. Crisp clean bass stamped with the Sonos sound of excellence! The unboxing was mind blowing. Don't judge a book by its cover. The Sub Mini is small and has clean lines. It fits anywhere and is totally discreet. By thinking outside of the box we were able to use the "Remote Office Home Theater" setup to watch TV and listen to music. You do not need a center channel to interface with a TV. This sub woofer is the best I’ve ever heard in a theater and it’s amazing how you can zone it to another system when using it

I bought the Mini Sub partly due to the cost. I didn't think I needed the full size and I was right. I have a decent sized living area that I put it in along with my ARC and 2 Sonos Ones. The added bass from the mini is more than I needed. It sounds great and was easy to set up as is the case with all of my Sonos speakers. I would definitely recommend.

The subwoofer in combination with an ARC Soundbar is a game changer. We can finally understand the dialogue when watching TV. The install is super easy and another benefit is also that all speakers now are on one system in Sonos, so one selection plays the music or TV to all speakers without having to select them individually. Love that as well!

If you invest in a Sonos surround sound set-up, you have to get the sub - it makes a BIG difference! I didn't think it would so I started my Sonos adventure without it and it was really good, but after reading all the reviews, I added a sub and they were right - FULL sound and great bass. I now have three surround set-ups and I have a sub for all of them! Yes, over-priced and expensive, but if you want that real home theater sound, don't cheap out - you have already made the investment so make it right. It is big and heavy, but can be put in several locations to keep it 'hidden'. It does add a LOT and pairing with the ARC is easy with the Sonos app.

The Sonos Sub Mini is pretty good. Depending on your room size it works very well. I have it in the office and it works well. Even though it is pretty expensive it is worth the $$$. For a main TV room system I would recommend the Sub Gen 3 (which is $370 more). The setup is very easy - all Sonos products are very easy to set up using the FREE downloaded app SONOS (IOS).

Wow! We got the mini but the room we put it in was open to the second floor and was not enough so we returned it and got this one and it fills the room. So happy with our Sonos and this baby is amazing. Highly recommend!!!
