Wow! Small but Powerful. Great sound and all the bass you really need in a smaller living room. Would probably work well in larger rooms as well.

I recently bought the Arc Ultra for my apartment and did not think I needed the Sub Gen 4 or 3 given how surprisingly punchy the Ultra was. Still needed that tiny extra bass response. Mini totally fit the bill. Base produced tight sounds, no vibrations and complemented my system.

I purchased Sonos speakers as a quick solution to my home surround sound. I replaced wired Klipsch tower speakers for Sonos wireless speakers and have not been disappointed. Great speakers for amazing sound in any space. Highly recommend.

Awesome Sub, it is not overpowering but it definitely provides the extra base that was need for the surround experience. Worked well for music and movies.

Perfect size with bold smooth base for smaller rooms like bedrooms, easy to set up like all Sonos devices.

I have been waiting for many years to get in to the Sonos family of products. I recently and very excitedly purchased the Arc (non ultra) and this Sub 4 from Best Buy and the combo is great - but I’m genuinely surprised that no other review has mentioned that the Arc already has so much bass on its own that the Sub 4 doesn’t do much until you’ve got the settings to +3 or more. If you love overpowered bass - and many people do - this sub can deliver that.. but I like strong and smooth bass, not just over-the-top loud. In fact, when listening to music I can usually turn the sub off and have it be more enjoyable, as the Arc on its own produces such excellently balanced sound - including the low frequencies - without the subwoofer. If I were doing the sequence of purchasing again for my Sonos buildout knowing and having experienced all of this now - I would still want the sub 4, but I wouldn’t have prioritized it over getting surround speakers, like the Era 100 or Era 300 speakers. I would have got the Sub last. Now, in movies does it make a difference? Yes - especially in action sequences with explosions. But… the ARC really isn’t slacking. You’ll still have a fantastic action movie experience without the sub. I do mean really great.. there’s nothing marginal about the Arc performance on its own. In short, though the Sub Gen 4 is a great, seamless product that is a cherry on a cake type of addition, the Arc is already so good that if I were needing to add more bass I’d just start with surrounds first. Wanted some extra intensity for Super Bowl 2026 and let me tell you, my guess are still raving about the sound of the game and half time show. It’s so good, seriously. If you can afford it. GET IT!! I have the middle size bar and 1 mini sub.

Good bass with movies with music it’s really amazing and gets your room like a movie theater honestly recommend but if you wnat bigger get a bigger Sonos and it’s going sound the hole block

This is our second Sub Mini. One downstairs and one upstairs connected to sound bars on each floor. Impressive boost in listening to the big screens and adds value to the leisure activity. Most difficulty of getting set up is literally taking it out of the box. That's not difficult.

Overall quality is solid. Easy to add to my Sonos system and it definitely improved the overall sound quality of my era 100 or when I get the whole house playing music. Hits some deep lows. Really impressive for 2 small drivers. If you are looking for something for good quality bass that is not overwhelming then this is worth it. If you are looking to turn your house into a night club, then go with the bigger sub.

Excellent addition to your Sonos system if only listening to a sound bar or sound bar with rear surrounds. I couldn't imagine watching TV or movies without this little guy. its the missing link adding to 3.1 or 5.1 sonos architecture. not nearly as large as sonos large subwoofer, more compact and hides well in corners of rooms. great customizable bass for mid size rooms. only gave 4 stars for value cause its 430 bucks. pretty tough pill to swallow however if you have the money and sonos, its a great addition.

It really brought our TV/Movie room to life! We have a Sonos bar and two rear 100s. It really compliments and adds the rich bass sound the system needed.

They call it mini but it isn’t really all that small and the sound is huge. Easy to fine tune so there is a perfect balance of bass. I’m blown away by bass I can feel anywhere in the room. Paired with the Sonos ARC soundbar and a 65” Roku RV.
