I put this in my workout room with two Sonos ones. The bass in this room went for decent to amazing. The room is about 14x10, the bass response is perfect. I’m thinking about adding one in my bedroom to pair with my play bar.

A must have to compliment your Sono Arc. Well worth the price of admission! If you enjoy a movie theater like experience and better-quality music, don't walk, RUN to your nearest Best Buy. Easiest setup of any technological item I may have ever set up as well.

I have been waiting for many years to get in to the Sonos family of products. I recently and very excitedly purchased the Arc (non ultra) and this Sub 4 from Best Buy and the combo is great - but I’m genuinely surprised that no other review has mentioned that the Arc already has so much bass on its own that the Sub 4 doesn’t do much until you’ve got the settings to +3 or more. If you love overpowered bass - and many people do - this sub can deliver that.. but I like strong and smooth bass, not just over-the-top loud. In fact, when listening to music I can usually turn the sub off and have it be more enjoyable, as the Arc on its own produces such excellently balanced sound - including the low frequencies - without the subwoofer. If I were doing the sequence of purchasing again for my Sonos buildout knowing and having experienced all of this now - I would still want the sub 4, but I wouldn’t have prioritized it over getting surround speakers, like the Era 100 or Era 300 speakers. I would have got the Sub last. Now, in movies does it make a difference? Yes - especially in action sequences with explosions. But… the ARC really isn’t slacking. You’ll still have a fantastic action movie experience without the sub. I do mean really great.. there’s nothing marginal about the Arc performance on its own. In short, though the Sub Gen 4 is a great, seamless product that is a cherry on a cake type of addition, the Arc is already so good that if I were needing to add more bass I’d just start with surrounds first. Excellent sub. Design is very different and elegant. It has a very good punch and is great for small and medium rooms. Great addition to the Arc.

Absolutely perfect match to the arc. It has a perfect bass and rumble to give a theater affect to my home.

I actually have two of these In separate rooms I have one in my second entertainment room. It’s a small room and it works perfect. Easy to install adjustable Would buy it again

This was purchased to go along with a Beam in my bedroom. I had a Samsung soundbar that wasn't necessarily bad just not capable of filling the room up enough with dynamic sound. After connecting this sub with the beam the room has been reimagined with great sound quality. If you're on the fence about purchasing a place with your Sonos system, don't be. The bass isn’t overwhelming and delivers as Sonos typically does. Great purchase and price, even went on sale a week after purchase through Best Buy, and they honored the price change.

This sub mini puts out strong bass for such a small unit. It was easy to pair with the Beam 2 & made a huge difference in low end sound.

I wasn’t exactly sold on this until I watched a few video reviews and I am happy I did that extra research cause I am extremely happy with the mini sun it paired perfectly well with SL one’s I have out in the backyard it definitely gave more depth in the sound and noticeable with every beat! Sonos for the win and what was even better is my local best buy had it in stock so I purchased online and picked it up the same day within two hours what a nice process too, thank you best buy and Sonos!

I have been using a Sonos Beam for 3 years and was happy with the features but always felt that the sound didn't quite hit how I had hoped. I had considered adding the full size Sonos sub but between the price and having a downstairs neighbor, decided to hold off and Im glad I did. The cheaper Sub Mini was released around the same time I moved to a ground-level apartment so I added it to my set up and it makes a huge difference without having to spend quite so much as the full sub. Love that it has an ethernet port, as to not crowd by wifi network.

A must have for fans of surround sound. Shook pictures off of wall in the man cave.
