However, it is a great addition to the Sonos sound bar. We have a fairly large living room with a tall ceiling and this subwoofer gives me the bass I was looking for.

We chose to hold off on purchasing the subwoofer due to the amazing sound quality of the Beam. The sound was extremely good, but just-not-there, so we bought this Sub Mini and it was what was missing. The sound is now amazing, just like the TV.

It does lack the house-shaking ability of the SVS and it Isn’t able to pressurize the room as well but it is very capable for the small room it is in. The mini is a little better at low volume music than the SVS. The form factor, easy integration and clean aesthetic are the selling points. There are better subs for the $$ if the Sonos aesthetic is not important to you.

You won’t notice it booming because it blends very well into the Sonos sound system. I’d recommend it for a beam or maybe arc, but it seems like it was “made” for a beam. I had heard rumors this sub would pair with roam or move, but that is not the case, and I think it was a miss to not allow dual subs (only 1 per setup, not dual compatible like the larger Sonos sub). Also, 429 for a “smaller” sub is not “affordable”, Sonos continues to price themselves 30-50% higher than they should. If this had been 299 and allowed dual setups, this would be 5 star product for me. But, if you need bass for an apartment living room, or similar setup, the mini sub offers good bass control without being overpowering.

Easy installation and huge upgrade in sound.!!! Think the beam soumds great now this will enhance th le theater experience 100 percent

I have this paired with my beam gen 1 and 2 Ikea Sonos shelves. Added a whole new depth for tv, movies and music. Lacks at high volume, but given the size I'm okay with that. No rattles from the opposing design. Pricy, but it's Sonos, you know what you're getting into. If you like the Sonos ecosystem, add this to your beam!

I enjoyed the sound without the sub but knew it would be much better with it. The Sum Mini has made a significant difference in my setup in my bedroom. Glad I finally got one.
