Adding the Sonos Sub 4 to my already excellent Sonos Arc Ultra has completely elevated my listening experience. The Arc Ultra provides the incredible 9.1.4 Dolby Atmos immersion and crystal-clear dialogue, while the Sub 4 handles the bass with spectacular, distortion-free depth. The Sub 4 doesn't just add bass; it frees the Arc to focus on mids and highs, resulting in a richer, fuller, and more detailed soundstage that truly shakes the room during action scenes. Setup was instant through the Sonos app, and the sleek design of both units looks fantastic under the TV. Very capable subwoofer for smaller spaces, nice looking, compact and oh so easy to connect.

I use them, I have two, one in my small living room and one in the bedroom, but I decided to go with the GEN four versus the mini because as I found later with the Tuning app, let the system tune itself, then just simply bring up or down the base gain as needed. Easily done in the app. But I recommend don't adjust the equalizer base level as this will adjust the whole systems base response. Rather, just adjust the sub level or sub volume, down or up as needed. These are almost invisible units that can sit in the rear of the room or in front of the room, I guess they are non-directional, but have achieved great sound in their initial placement, so great for any installation purpose. Put these in anywhere and they will sound amazing.

I purchased the Sonos Sub Mini, and it has made a huge difference in my home audio setup. For its size, this subwoofer delivers impressive bass, deep, tight, and perfectly balanced without overpowering the rest of the sound. I had an injury last year that left me chair/couch bound for a long time, and I wanted to have a decent sound and TV setup for when the surgery came. After doing a lot of research on sound systems, I was not having much luck finding what I wanted: a system that worked as surround sound for TV/movies and that I could disconnect and move around the house so I could listen to music in multiple rooms at the same time without being battery powered. Then, I stumbled onto Sonos at a theater showroom in BestBuy. After listening to the employee and doing some independent research, I tested out the sound, and I fell in love! I purchased the soundbar with two One SLs for surround, and shortly after, went back to pickup a separate sub. Love the quality of sound that comes out of this system for both streaming services and Spotify. Plus, the convenience of being able to move them around as I want and play them independently or grouped is unmatched. I have told everyone that has used mine about them and to purchase them. The only thing(s) I regret are not buying this up front and not getting the larger version. This one is incredible, but I know the other is even better.

Great subwoofer! I got 2 for the front and back of the room but one is plenty of bass.
