I have had these more than a year now and I love them. Although the noise cancelling may not be as good as over the head completely cover your ears headphones, for around the neck headphones they work very well. Even in airplanes they work well.

Noise cancelling is good but not as good as the over the ear type. But they are much smaller and more portable.

Works great. My husband uses the headphones at the shop and at the gun range for noise canceling as well as music and talking on the phone. The first pair stopped working within the first couple months and we had it replaced with no problems.

Love this earphone! Works really well and the noise cancelling feature works as well as my over the head (high end) noise cancelling headphone. Husband bought the same and he too loves them. Haven't flown with them yet but we'll see in February.

I’ve used every high dollar head set including a $500 head set from Bose. This Sony product is the winner hands down. Fits around my neck, very comfortable, volume is great, easy on my ears, and very durable. Highly recommend.

I am constantly on the phone...usually receive 60 calls a day. Sound quality is great but noise cancel feature feels like put pressure on ear. Con is the price for outgoing calls have client complain that cant hear. Wish had both of worlds. Returned purchased anker for $49 sound quality music ok but for out good calls cant tell much difference between Anker and phone..

I was on the fence about buying these, but I'm glad I did. I previously bought the Bose version of this & I did not like them because they just sat on your ears. These actually go IN your ears, thus they work far better.

I’ve love this headset ever since I got it. Great sound and easy to setup and use. Noise canceling feature has worked wonders for me in noisy places. Different earbud sizes (included) make it easy to adjust them to your ear size.

These headphones have better noise canceling and better sound quality than my Bose Quiet Comfort 30. The quality of the materials also seems to be an improvement. Would highly recommend the Sony noise canceling head phones to friends.

The sound is awesome in these headphones. The noise canceling is good. Not as good as the over ear ones but still works well. I love the feature to turn on ambient sounds to hear what is going on around you without having to remove them.

I’ve been wanting noise-cancelling headphones for a while. I do not care for headphones that sit on your head. These are in your ear and that’s perfect for me. Sony is on point when it comes to headphones.

Sound quality is phenomenal. Paired with the apps soundstage these are very versatile headphones. Was I’m pressed when I used them in a loud environment how much of the noise was actually removed.

Wow. The Sony 1000X headphones are impressive on many levels. First, sound. This is what headphones are about, after all. And Sony delivers in a major way. These earbud style headphones are a worthy addition to Sony's premium 1000X line. The bass rich and deep. The highs are without distortion. The mids are clear and distinct. As with many headphones these deays, you can customize your sound profile via an app. In this case, the app is the Sony Headphone Connect, available on iOS and Android. The 1000X supports hi-res audio. Customization. Speaking of the app, there are a lot of cool things you can do. In addition to customizing the type of sound field, you can also customize how you want the noise canceling feature to work. That's pretty cool. There also also two full sets of earbud options included, so you can choose size and and color. That's a pretty nice extra. Noise Canceling. These little guys do a wondeful job of noise cancelation. I was quite impressed. The noise canceling ability can be custmoized to different environments or even turned off. The amount of noise the 1000X earbuds can block is really eye opening. When paired with the app, the noise canceling function can also adapt to your actvity. It's pretty wild to have the noise canceling dynamicaly adjust as you go from sitting to standing to walking. Of course, you can control that feature or turn it off, if you want. Form factor. The 1000X earbuds come attached to a wireless neckband. I'm generally not a fan of neckbands, but this is the best neckband syle headphone I've had the pleasure of trying. The band itself is light and comfortably padded. After a minute or two, I no longer noticed it was there. One nice benefit of this style is that the battery, sensors, drivers, etc are stashed in the band rather than being crammed in the earbud itself, which means you get more power and lighter earbuds. Note, the cords to the earbuds do not retract into the band. The cord can we slotted into a groove around the band for storage, but you still have some dangle at the end with the earbuds. I'd rather see the cords retract, but this way works as well as earbuds that don't have a neckband. Features. In addition to te noise canceling ability, the 1000X have dual drivers, dual microphones, and an industry first: a barometric pressure sensor. This is supposed to adjust both the sound drivers and how the microphone operates on a plane, for instance. I am very impressed and highly recommend the Sony 1000X Behind-the-Neck Wireless Headphones.

Fell in love with these Bluetooth headset. It last up to ten hours without stopping for those who fall asleep with music or whichever way is easiest for you to do so

Perfect for going on long trips. Noise cancellation works just fine. But the good thing about it is you can use the cable to watch ife on most international flights

Good sounding headphones with excellent noise cancellation

Purchased this a year ago and can’t believe how good the sound quality listening to music is, very well balanced sound, also very good for taking phone calls.

These headphones were really comfy, with great music sound, but they really had minimal noise cancelling. I returned and bought the Sony over the ear model. A bit more expensive, but the noise cancelling is at least 10 times greater.
