Great sounding sound bar and subwoofer. The sound from it fills up a large living room. The subwoofer is connected to the sound bar wirelessly.

The sound is pretty good for the most part. The center channel thing where you can adjust dialogue to be louder than everything else doesn't really work, you can barely tell the difference between the three settings. Otherwise good.

This sound bar exceeds my expectations. High quality sound and very good bass. Compliments my new UHD 4K tv for a great overall experience. Plenty of the latest specification HDMI connections for all my audio needs.

I was surprised how good the Sony HTNT5 sounded as it was only a 2.1 system. The simulated surround sound is much better than the other systems I was reviewing. My old system was a 15 year old Onkyo system with Dolby Pro Logic. This is a major step in the right direction. My smart phone connected to the sound bar very quick and easy. I can play music without having the television on.

I guess for 700 bucks I was expecting more,but I really have not had a chance to play around with it. The clearness of the audio does seem good. I guess if you want more you might consider upgrading to the atmos.

For the average room and listening level, a sound bar at half the price would service the ears just fine. Even on sale it's just a bit too expensive. To make it work it really needs the rear wireless speakers. The wireless sub is fine, but more often than not, the user's sub is located fairly near the base or the same wall so it's not as critical as the rears (not included). And the sub volume on the remote is not needed. Have a switch for it to toggle the volume or adjust it via the setup panel. The unit can sit in front of the TV or be mounted on the wall. If the user wants surround, a Theater in a Box would be about the same price plus it could include Smart function and a Blu Ray player. Even wireless rear speaker systems are easy on the wallet. That is a better bang for the buck IMO.

Easy setup, great sound, Deep bass and great surround sound

Easy to setup and sounds great. I liked it so much I bought two of them.

The sound bar was a few years old when I purchased it and when I decided I would pony up the $400 to add surround sound speakers, they were no longer available to buy. Actually pretty happy they weren't because my replacement will eventually be a Sonos Arc. That being said, I'm in no rush to replace this one just yet. It sounds fantastic and has great bass. While I do love and want a surround sound, it does a pretty great job of making you feel immersed. For the $400 I spent on it, it's actually a fantastic sounding unit. I have a Sony TV so the Bravia sync stuff, while can be cumbersome to wrap you head around, works pretty well. My favorite thing about it is the ARC passthrough and additional HDMI ports it provides. I have an Xbox One, PS4, and Switch all connected and they work like a charm. I had random issues over the years but nothing major or headache causing, just annoying. That being said, I haven't had much issues in recent months. The Google audio cast and Spotify Connect work well.

This syncs up nicely with my Sony TV, and the sound is terrific. No, it doesn't beat true 5.1 or 7.2 surround sound, but when your space is limited (or installation options) sound bars are a great way to go. I love that the subwoofer can be plugged into the wall and connects wirelessly to the soundbar. Really gives you flexibility when installing.

Excellent product and it sounds really good. Looks great too.

A few people made comments about how the sound and the rear speakers (which you have to buy separately) sounded bad. But I have to say I really like it in the room it is in. Everyone that sits to watch a movie or netfilx loves it. I have no complains, it does take a little bit of figuring out but once you get how it works you fall in love with it.

Purchased this with my new Sony TV. This enhances the entire effect of watching TV. It make me feel as though I'm in the movie it self!

I have had this system for about a month now and I am very pleasantly surprised by how dynamic it sounds. I tired many sound bars before it, but none have sounded as full bodied and sharp. I can only imagine how much greater it can be with the additional surrounds. I have literally heard things buzz past me while watching movies. Wow

Sound quality is good. I kept them because bit costs twice as much to get a measurable improvement. Many better alternatives, but prices are much higher to get those improvements. I'm happy with these.

This Sony sound bar has great sound and perfect for my family room. The geek squad programmed my xfinity cable for my cable, tv and sound bar. I had some initial difficulties but I have learnt how to use it now. It is great.

This sound bar has great sound and is very easy to use. The only shortcoming in my mind is that the digital info bar is on the top of the sound bar rather than the front. This makes it difficult to see your settings.

I had Best Buy set this up. Worked great. I was inserting a thumb drive in the USB port and somehow turned off the sound bar. It took a long time to get it working again. I still don't know what I did to get it going.

I love this amplifier for my tv because it's mounted to the bottom of my tv...saves space..and makes way Hong movies so much better.
