I wanted to simple yet Hi-res sound bar for my Sony set up and this one did not disappoint. Still sounding great after 4 years of use.

This is a great alternative to the full surround setup. Great sound from the main speaker and the subwoofer adds the right amount of bass. Plenty of HDMI outputs and easy to set-up.

I originally went into the store looking for a replacement for my aged Kenwood 5.1 system. I did not expect to walk out with a soundbar without satellite speakers but this bar impressed me greatly and had HDMI switching to replace my clunky switch. I found the sound crisp at the high and I could feel the lows with a clarity in the vocal range. I've never been more pleased with an unplanned change.

I upgraded from a cheap samsung soundbar when I bought my new Sony TV. To be honest, I cannot tell that much of a difference. I also had wireless rear speakers that I no longer have since Sony doesn't offer any at a reasonable price. I would say these speakers work very well but I feel like I downgraded from the cheaper samsung speakers that I already had. Would not purchase these again.

Great sound bar for the money. Excellent sound when watching anything. Would highly recommend to anyone. The rear channel speakers will make this complete. And they sound great also

We use this with our TV in our family room, and it really enhances the sound quality!

Bought this as a bundle with a 4K Sony television. So far it is as advertised. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the sound and the deepness of the base which is amazing.

Very god d sound with easy set up but the microphone grid was bent and does not lay flat

Easy set up and it looks good and sounds great. Improves the standard tv sound and has bluetooth capabilities for listening to personal music from devices such as phones and tablets.

incredible sounds w/my 4K HD player. I remember when Teac and JBL were the top of the heap. No more , this sound system will rock you.

Love it. It sounds awsome in our room we had to move the subwoofer around the room a few times and places to get the perfect sound, but when we found it, it was unbelievable.

Most of the time when I turn on the TV the sound bar turns on and works normally. However, there are occasions when the TV is turned on and the sound power comes on but no sound at all comes from the sound bar. When I turn just the sound bar off the audio automatically resumes from the TV. I have to change the settings of the sound bar from TV to something else and then back to TV for it to work again.

Attached it to 75 in Sony tv and sounds amazing!!!!! Got rid of the theatre system because this sounded better!!! Definitely recommend and sits nicely underneath tv

I've been a Bose guy for years. I'm not going to say it is better that my Bose, but they are close. The next time I purchase sound equipment, I will have to consider Sony too.

Fantastic sound quality. Makes for movie theater experience in our basement. This bar has no trouble filling up 1000sq. Ft. + of finished basement with high quality sound

The sound is excellent whether watching speaking only, musicals or sports. The different modes allow me to match the best sound features for what I am watching.

The sound is good and crispy... but I don't know if i will spend this money again...

This sound system is incredible. I am not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination but I am a musician with a pretty darn good ear. The treble is crisp and clear and the bass is deep without overwhelming the composition of the overall sound. I use this mainly to listen to music while working out, watch movies, and play video games. Once you have found the perfect spot for your subwoofer, this sound system truly changes the entertainment experience. I can't say enough good about this sound system.

I think 2.5 stars is about right. I bought all brand new Sony items thinking that they would all work seamlessly. They sort of do. All in all the sound is really good when using bluetooth for apps like Pandora although there are now connectivity issues. When watching movies on Netflix, Amazon or Uverse however, the sound is all over the place. Sometimes I need to turn it up to 80 just to hear the talking and other times it's too loud when at 40. So inconsistent and frustrating. Tried calling customer service for both Sony and Uverse and each blame the other. No fix found. I bought a Sonos system for the basement and it is 1000x better. Works just as it's supposed to. At the end of the day, the best I would say about this system is buyer beware.
