The demo at the store was Pacific Rim so there was a good display of the bass. The bass is absolutely incredible and being able to control it's level is major key. The soundbar itself has crystal clear audio that has surprised my guests who have heard it. Like the title says, this produces movie-theater quality sound in your home. I will definitely be buying the optional satellite speakers soon so I can get surround sound.

However, after installation I found that the Sony sound bar was tinny and less vibrant sound than the Vizio sound system that I had previously.
