Excellent sound. Never had a sound bar before but would recommend this to everyone. Makes movies more realistic and music is awesome.

Love the soundbar. Don't have to have the TV blasting and can hear everything very well and clear. Absolutely have to have a soundbar.

The best part of this sound bar at this price point is having 3 HDMI input with 4k capabilities. And the sound is really nice clear and loud.

The sound is great but the Android O/S on the Sony TV is a little problematic. Often the sound bar does not get the sound from the TV over HDMI special port. I have to restart the TV and the sound bar starts working again.

I always had a stereo receiver with equalizer and enjoyed the sound, but after purchasing the sound bar and experiencing the amazing sound with the sub there is no going back. The rich bass and clarity make you feel like you have a big expensive stereo with a fraction of he cost. Well worth it and looking to purchase another unit for the other TV.

We bought the tv and sound bar together, both Sony. The inputs are hard to figure out and the sound bar doesn't turn on automatically when you turn the tv on... and it turns off if muted for more than 5 minutes. In my opinion, it's not user friendly but the sound is great.

I got this when I bought my Sony 75" TV in 11/2016. The good thing is that both were Sony, so everything would be compatible so no problems in installation and adjusting. Bonus is the subwoofer which sounds great. Was looking at the Bose soundbar, but it doesn't come with a subwoofer, and basically in a different class and also different price!

The setup is super easy!!! The sound is so lifelike. There are noises that i never noticed in movies before getting surround sound

It's great for a sound bar and louder then you may realize at times. Can be a bit frustrating with the limited options for sound adjustment and equalizer if you're an audiophile. Wireless sub is very nice and useful. As long as you remember that this isn't a 7.1/2 system and keep your expectations as such, you will enjoy this purchase.

Love the sound and features of this sound bar. Goes well with my Sony bravia 4k tv. Got this on sale that makes it even better

I was looking for a quality sounder that was reasonably priced and easy to set-up. This one worked extremely well. While not as good as a true surround sound system, it is a HUGE improvement over no sound system other than the cheesy speaker built into my TV. It was pretty easy to set up and I notice a significant improvement in sound volume and quality. I would buy the same until again. But since i bought the extended warranty, I think I'm in no more need of soundbars. The next level up for me would be a full surround sound system.

This sony soundbar comes with the biggest book and I love that but you will need it. Relies to much on a computer and all you want is great sound. Sometimes it connects and others it does not. Go figure.

i purchased this sound bar about a year ago and now the sound sucks. i took it back to best buy for the extended warranty and was told that it will take up to 30 days or longer to repair or replace it. for paying for the geek squad warranty you would think that this would not take this long. i checked on the status of it and it still has not arrived in to its destination yet after a week what did they do send it strapped to a turtle and send it on its way.

I upgraded my previous sony sound bar with this one. Needs HDCP 2.2 compatibility. Sounds similar to a model that was 2 years old. It works great especially with all sony products. Currently have a 4k xbr and a ps4 pro hooked up to it. Its nothing like my main system but for the price I paid it sounds good and is extremely convenient.

Sound bar was more for my husband and he loves it! Very good sound quality - can definitely hear the difference from the regular TV speakers.

Great great unit! Got a new one at open box price. But, as Sony knows, the sound output has major issues! Make sure you hook up proper! Run all to this unit with high end cables only!! Then run a better cable to your arc hdmi input. Also solves PS4 resolution issues!! Very cool but lacking. Can be fixed with an update!! Sony get on this.

I bought the sound bar and added the rear speakers. Directions aren't very clear. I am still tweaking it and am hoping there will be another update that will allow you more control of the speaker adjustments. I will have to say if your watching an HD movie and like to crank it up then this surround system is for you! Music also sounds great too

Very happy with this sound bar, it sounds great and looks good. And for the price I’m very satisfied. I got it on sale for $400
