1st Sound Bar in bedroom
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed the Sony XBR55x930D with new full wall mount and Sony 2.1 Sound Bar, which took me some time to do un-mount old TV and remove all full motion wall amount and to do new install on new wall mount, fish new cabling behind wall and set up new configuration along with installing the accompanying Sony 2.1 Sound Bar, which really ended up liking very much, as went back bought some wireless Bluetooth Sony headphones as it (soundbar) has Bluetooth feature, which is really convenient when spouse is asleep. Thumbs up on it all!!!

Haven't found the right settings yet

One, I cannot stand when the voice volume is quiet and the music/action sounds blast my eardrums out and I cannot seem to find the correct settings to stop this. Two, when the system is first turned on it works for a minute or so, then the screen blanks and sound goes out and takes another minute or so to either manually fix it or have it turn back on automatically. When the system is on and not glitching and blasting my eardrums I like it, however; these issues make me hesitant to recommend.

IT's good but not Great

It glitches a little when changing channels and my son hates the loud static noise it makes. I'm using the ARC HDMI cable so maybe it's something to do with that. It also is not as loud as I would have expected. Good enough for me.

Beautiful Sound and Presense

I do realize the center channel is somewhat missing, but that is expected from a sound bar. Sony has definitely tried to leverage an algorithm that mimic center channel in the movie setting and it is decent.
