Purchased this to compliment Sony Z9D 4k TV and was not disappointed. Superb sound for all types of broadcasts.

I got this Sony Soundbar to pair with my new Sony OLED TV. I had them both mounted to the wall and man these things really add good depth and clarity to the everyday TV / Media watching. Today's TV's are not built with sound in mind so this is really a must have. The bar comes on and off with the TV and so there are no extra buttons or remotes needed to operate it once it is setup and calibrated to taste. Good stuff and it really does rock!

Great product which includes a metal grill for added protection. Comes with options which makes it easier to mount on the wall, place on the table top or mount on the furniture itself. With ARC HDMI its fully compatible and automatic with my sony tv and dvd and my cable receiver. It changes its mode automatically when i switch from watching tv to dvd so no need to manually turn on anything. It has Bluetooth and i can play music from my phone even which is great.

Best Buy's is the only store I shop at. They carry everything. If they don't have in the store you get it online. Westland, Mi Best Buy is the "Best" Best Buy Store. They have the Best General Manager Nathan. He is all about customer service, very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable of anything in the store. I have a great experience every time I'm in that store. And I've been to all the Best Buys in my area and the Westland store tops them all.

This is one of the worst electronic devices I have purchased. I bought that in open- box condition from BestBuy. The unit has stopped working 2 times within 8 months. It started taking a long time to power on or power off. Finally, the sound stopped coming from the soundbar. Input selection option would not work anymore. Even when it powered up, the menu icon would not show up. Home button did not work generally but I could randomly get to the menu. After some trial and error, I could not update the firmware through the internet or through USB. The error said to call support center. Hard reset with the power button and Vol+ did not help. By searching the net, I found that this is not only my problem and there are many out there. The first time it happened after 2 months from purchase date. I called Sony support and they send me the shipping label to send it back to United Radio (UR) which is their authorized service center. UR told me that no problem was found which was weird. Anyway, I received the sound bar and it was working fine. These took me 2 hr talking with Sony support center and about 2 weeks waiting for repair and shipping. Next time it happened after 3 months with the exact same problem. I contacted UR directly, I got a label and I send it back. This time UR claimed that the unit is infested with bugs and is not repairable !!! I was shocked for a day. How it could happen. They send it back and I called Sony. They send me another label. Again shipping it to UR and they repeated the same answer: unrepairable due to infestation. The only difference was that this time they charged me for shipping back because we just found that open-box condition had a 90-day warranty instead of a year. So I called again Sony and negotiated that and they accept to pay the return shipping cost. This took about a month leaving me without a sound bar. The infestation claim was very strange to me. Since It does not have warranty anymore and I had nothing to loose, I took the risk and opened the soundbar to take a look at bug infestation. There was no infestation and there was no any sign of infestation like bugs excretion. I just found one tiny dead bug which I think was normal. Could you believe that? I am still could not understand why UR did not repair it even out of warranty (I ask them on the phone). I can not solve this puzzle and it left me with a lot of question: How it worked fine for the first time after sending to UR while they did not do any repair? Why did it get breaking every 2-3 months? Why the second time UR claimed the infestation? Why UR lied about the infestation? I am not sure if I need to discuss this with my lawyer or not. It took a lot of time and energy and still, there is no any authorized service center to repair it. In what world we are living? I have got really frustrated with Sony and UR, their authorized service center. Definitely, I will never buy again anything from Sony and will never suggest anybody else. I hope this help customer to decide with eyes wide open.

Got this at discount with tv. Sounds great and easy hook up. Plus can stream music from phone to it.

After sending it to Geek Squad twice for an issue with the sub disconnecting, I was finally forced to return it. It would disconnect every week or two, but of course, it would work just fine for the 12-24 hours they have it playing for while looking for an issue.

Sound bar exceeded my expectation. Clear sound and loud volume range.

It's a decent 2.1 soundbar but then again it's 799$ . You get far better surround sound speakers or soundbars for this price and if you just need a 2.1 system you can get a nicer one for half the cost or less. Don't buy this.

Knowing from reviews that the Sony TV I bought has weak internal speakers, I added this to my purchase. The sound is 2.1 stereo. I'm thinking of adding wireless back speakers to fill out the sound, but it is certainly good enough "as is" for the cable programs and sports that I watch.

I purchased this particular sound bar because of its compatibility with my Sony Bravia, purchased a few months ago. With the Bravia, as with any other TV, because I am older and do not hear as well as I wish, I always needed subtitles to appreciate whatever I watched.. This sound bar is so good that I have not had to use subtitles once. I can watch and enjoy anything I want, because of the clarity it provides with its "voice" mode.

Good Sound supplement to the wide screen Sony purchased last year. Got a good deal on it as well. Comes with both tabletop & wall mount options for main component. Has wireless subwoofer that adds real sound flavor to regular old TV. Great with music channels.

I utilize this sounder with a pair of wireless speakers to create wireless surround. In concert, the setup is great. While I'm not an expert, I am satisfied with the volume, clarity, and surround features. You run your HDMI cables through the soundbar and select the input within the sounder menu instead of your tv's menu to achieve the enhanced sound.

While the documentation was severely lacking, once I got the setup right, it sounds really good.
