Sound is great with one drawback. Crossover point on the subwoofer is very high so you get voices from the subwoofer. Which means the subwoofer has to be placed right near the soundbar. Why is it wireless if it has to be right near the soundbar? If you can put the subwoofer right next to your TV then it's a great soundbar. If you want to stash the sub in a corner behind the couch find a different soundbar.

This is an awesome sound bar. You can hear voices crystal clear w/the background noises perfect in the distance. Would highly recommend!

I absolutely love my soundbar. It makes listening to music exciting with the beautiful quality of the soundbar. Bluetooth makes it perfect. As well as a free sub-woofer. Attaching the soundbar to my tv made my Movie Watching Experience 10x better.

So we finally upgraded to a new 4K Blu Ray Player. Notice a slight difference from the last Sony. Good Enough. Great thing is that you get 2 free discs, which at retail are $30 each. That helped to rationalize the cost of $299 at Best Buy.

I have this paired with a 4K player and 930E tv and the movies sound great. I am using the Audio Quest Carbon cords and I can notice a big difference compared to when I was using the regular $30 hdmi cable definitely worth the investment.

We got this as part of a deal with our Sony 4K TV at the time and couldn’t be happier. With the proper HDMIs, movies/shows will sound like you’re in a theater and wirelessly playing music will sound like you’re at a nightclub

I purchased this with my Sony TV on sale at black Friday to get an additional $200 off bringing the total sale to $400 off. Had I not got that deal, I probably wouldn't have. Purchased this but it is a great sound bar with superior clarity.

Sony has taken the listening experience to the next level with this sound bar. Incredible depth of sound and helps the listener feel like part of the movie/show/game. Extreme clarity above all other sound bars I've researched. Great investment.

Recommended by the Best Buy sales associate and I am glad I took his recommendation. We decided not to mount on the wall under the TV and the sound is not compromised by sitting on the entertainment unit. Easy to set up and great subwoofer.

Lil bit too pricey but very reliable. I am able to connect wireless with 2 more sony speakers as soround sound. I really like em.

Excellent investment and complement to our Sony Bravia 75” tv and, wireless surround speakers, and 4K Blu-ray. Setup and pairing the wireless add on speakers was a royal pain but once past all that, the sound is spectacular

I purchased this soundbar as an upgrade from my old Samsung HW-45C. The functions are identical as with most soundbars (HDMI, Optical, Blutooth, etc). The Sony had more power however, the clarity in the Sony's dialogue was not as CLEAN and CLEAR of the Samsung. Sony has a great product. I returned the unit the next day and kept my on Samsung. I just feel that they could have done a better soundbar for the price of it.

Remotes and HDMI ports and "inputs" and "sound source" etc. are new things that must be understood by "senior citizens"

I bought this to replace an older Sony Soundbar. I bought this one mainly for the hi-res sound. It plays the sound from my 4k-dvd's great. I have added 2 wireless surround speakers.

System still delivers good quality sound Con Cannot stream BT grom device while connected to On television

I have not purchased a TV or sound bar in almost 14 years but this system was excellent. I love the blue tooth and my phone works on it for music as well. This is a good purchase.

The Sony sound bar works well with the Sony TV right out of the box. Only disappointment so far no bass or treble adjustment.

It's ok. Seemed to sound better in the store. It works good for watching movies but for listening to music, I wish it was better.

The HTNT5 is the best Soundbar on the market. The sound it produces is unlike any out. The Hi-Res audio makes you hear things you didnt hear before in your music, movies and shows. It is an ideal compliment for the TV i got it with.

Sound bar isn't as loud as I would expect. Also when you rewind or fast forward movies it can loose the audio and you have to wait for sound to come back. It dies it more when rewinding. Also if you don't turn off the sleep setting the unit will turn off when you pause the TV and won't turn back in unless u manually turn it back on
