I thought it would give the TV killer sound, but it was a waste of money. The ARC integration is the worst. I expected Sony products to have better integration. The delay in turning on the system drives me crazy. After I turn on the TV, it takes 10 seconds for the sound bar to wake up. But if I turn on the cable box before the sound bar is awake, the TV switches to HDMI1 instead of the HDMI channel that the sound bar is connected to. The sound is ok, but nothing that blows me away. I think it only provides marginally better sound than the TV itself.

Bass performance is far below my level of expectations. To be totally 5.1 stereo require the purchase of too expensive Sony rear speakers which did not improve the base either. The system has highly flexible inputs and modes but not really much Bass!

The sound is pretty good but a little pricy. simple to setup and connects well with xbr850e (slow interface) and Xbox S. Not a great value for what you get........ I won't buy Sony again.

We have a small living room which is where we installed this but it was not loud at all. The bass was super low and didn't make a difference if the volume was high. We returned this product.
