I'm not a big sound bar person, love Sony TVs but never cared for their audio but I thought I try the Sony sound bar out and for the price and just watching regular TV not bad at all. My other TV has the 7.1 sound system and not fair to compare. Beats the sound from the TV and for the price well worth it.

While it has good sound and easy to set up, occasionally it does not "come on". You have to leave it alone and it will eventually come back on. Maybe I didn't set it up properly?

I bought a TV, so I got $200 off the sound bar, which was a great deal. The sounds quality is pretty good so far, but it could be louder for my liking. I have to say we do have it siting on a stand, so the sound mostly goes up. I assume if it were mounted on the wall it would be a little better, but I can't say. Overall, the sound quality is good, but I think it could possibly be better. I like the integration with the TV, so that's why I went with Sony so that they directly interface.

We got this at a discount with the TV. It's a good sounding system, but compared to the Sonos, well, there is no comparison. But for the price this is very good.

Very good product. Not 5 stars because the sub woofer has not connected a couple times- had to go into setup and reconnect it. Otherwise easy to setup and great sound!

Looking to get the 5 and 1 sound bar $ 900 range), but this 2 speaker + 1bass box was an open item ($500 range). Great buy, great sound for your average living room. The 5 & 1 would have been overkill. For a bedroom/average living room, this will do!! As always Sony does it again, quality!!

The Sony sound bar is a decent sound bar with a lot of extra capabilities that I did not need. I only use it with my TV and don't play music from my cell phone through the Bluetooth capability. Given this, paying extra for this feature was a waste of money. If you want this capability it might be worth it for you. Now as to the sound capability. I found it to be only fair and did not feel it worth the price. I ended up returning the Sony and buying a Klipsch for much less money and it sounds much better.I would recommend buying a sound bar from a company such as Klipsch, JBL, or Bose that specialize in speaker design and manufacture. Speaker design is not the area of expertise for electronics companies such as Sony or Samsung.

Good sound quality for a smaller living room / apartment / bedroom. Easy to set up. If your TV is wall mounted, I'd suggest the Rockfish Sound bar Mount. Part #RF-SBM101

The sound bar sounds great. The sound switches automatically from tv to soundbar when turned on.

Replaced traditional home theater system with this sound bar and sub woofer. Best sound ever.

Too expensive was led to believe we needed more expensive cables. However when compared to quality of other of much lower expense quality is much better.

Never bought a sound bar before but the TV sound nowadays is just not keeping up with the advanced picture displays. Also, my 85 yr old mom moved in with me who needs advanced sound. Most sound bars have way too much base for me & mom. However, this sound bar is just perfect. Really advances the sound experience with out all the loud, low booms of base. Makes dialogue much easier to understand. Really enjoying it!

The soundbar puts out a deep rich sound when I play music but not as much when the tv is playing. You will need a optical cable to connect with the tv because either the tv or the sound bar has an issue connecting with one another with the HDMI cable. Other reviewers mentioned this also and it's true as no sound can be heard after a while with the HDMI cable. I have not played a DVD Movie yet to judge the sound quality. The subwoofer plays at a precise time based on the scenes in the movie we watch and the music we listen to which some people fail to realize. Overall I think it's a good buy.

Well I did buy this sound bar having so many positive feedbacks from many salesperson at bestbuy. The sound is great.. Way better than the one the TV has of course the only issue is that it wont connect fully with the TV. I have a LG oled and by using some of the apps like youtube)the sound bar would not work. So not sure at this point if it is the TV or the sound bar but it happens only when I use apps.. For regular cable or other types of apps such netflix it works perfect..

Geek Squad did a excellent job of setting up the soundbar with the HD TV. Sound is great.

I purchased this for $300 on sale, for that price it was a great deal and the sound quality plus features are very good.

Not surprisingly, Sony has figured out how to create the perfect sound quality without having to break the bank in order to enjoy it. While some other brands generally take all the bows, this system is actually the perfect mix. Even my Bose cannot match it!
