Not good for large room

Set-up was easy, but Volume wasn't sufficient for my room size. I had an older 100 watt surround system I was wanting to replace, This is a 25 watt system, Had volume up to 100 % , not filling Room. I had to replace it with a Def. Tech Micro Studio sound bar than has 84 watts.

Sony Soundbar is a Dud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased it as a package deal with our TV ( an $800 value for $400 ) I was assured that the one for $800 was far superior to another one that was advertised for $395, but when it was installed, it didn't make the sound any louder than the TV alone. Best Buy brought us a $400 JBL Soundbar as a replacement that works a LOT better than the $800 Sony

I have tried everything and I still find myself straining to hear the conversations on some shows because the background noise gets so loud. Tried all the settings I can find including the voice up feature. The best I have done so far is to point the speaker directly at my couch rather than leave it flat and pointing at an angle as it is designed to do.
