It adds a nice deep base, and improves on the onboard TV quality tremendously! I'm very happy with this purchase! It's been over a year and a half since I bought it and have had no issues with it yet.

It makes gives you the perfect sound quality for both special effects and dialogue without having to constantly increase and decrease the volume on your TV. Sony is also a welll known brand, also the subwoofer is connected via Bluetooth so you can find the best location for the bass in your living room.

The Sony 2.1 was the best rated model in our price range. It sounds very good, especially with the wireless subwoofer; a very full, clear sound.

Also I still don't know how to adjust the base level with the subwoofer. I do enjoy the Sony unit and feel it is a good value!
