I could hardly hear anything from it. I had a Vizio someone gave me for free that worked way better, but unfortunately got damaged in the move. So I thought a Sony would be better. Not to mention about 1.5yrs after purchase the sub stopped working. Just noticed it wasn't on and not turning on either. So who knows when it actually stopped working...??

Unfortunately, the TV had a major screen defect and needed to be returned, we might've gotten a replacement except the sound bar system had a really poor sound. We have a really nice Sony sound bar system in another room so were really diappointed in the sound quality. We decided to pack everything back up (which is a lot of work!) and returned it all to Best Buy.

Poor quality

However, I purchase this item Sept, 2017 the subwoofer no longer works and I barely used it. It only lasted while the 1 year manufacture warranty covered it. If, you are going to buy this item make sure you purchase the extended warranty from the store. Otherwise, you’ll be out of luck like me. (:-()

At maximum volume you don’t even notice the subwoofer is on. It was but I couldn’t here it. You’re probably better off saving your money and just rely on your tv speakers.
