Movie theater sound!

I can turn up the base for really good movie sound, or turn it down as needed. It was so worth the price!! I've already recommended it to several coworkers that just purchased new TV's like I did.

Good sound at first

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This sound bar system sounded great at first then the subwoofer conked our on me. I still use the sound bar part of it without the bass but I am disappointed with that. The closest Best Buy to my home is an hour away so at some point I will see if i can take it in to be fixed. It worked great for 6 to 8 months with no problems, I have no idea what happened with the darn thing.

I'd read that in the reviews before purchasing so expected it to an extent. At higher volume it all fills in pretty well. Pretty pleased overall.

Was told that the JBL sound bar was best, but at $50 more, and sounding washed out. Sony blew the competition at the price point away. Couldn't be beat and soumd great in my open floor living room.

This setup certainly does not provide huge home theater quality sound (nor did I expect it to). Bluetooth capabilities are convenient. With both the optical audio AND HDMI connected to my Sony TV, the speaker volume adjusts with the regular TV remote volume controls, allowing me to put the little sound bar remote control aside. #NoMoreRemotes

It has continued to get worse to the point that almost any ambient noise scrambles what I am listening to. This system allows me to adjust the bass, the worst culprit, and treble. I am deaf at the midrange of both. It's so nice not to have the volume set at maximum.
