Solid Sound

Good deal. Better sound than your basic sound bar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it for new Samsung tv but when I hooked up tv and used my last year's black Friday's special Samsung sound bar and sound was better so I used the Sony on another tv. It does have some really good features though like clear voice mode to help hear the dialogue over background movies and nite mode to keep volume from jumping up and down with commercial and other movies.

No To my Expectations

The Sony sound bars were a little expensive, so I kept my LG sound bar. My Direct tv remote turns on the Sony tv and the LG sound bar together. But it will not turn off the sound bar. So when this sound bar went on Sale. I purchased it. Once it was connected, the sound was inferior to the LG. So I returned it

OK Sound Upgrade

This sound bar provides better sound but it does not blow you away. You get what you pay for--an inexpensive sound bar will only give you a modest upgrade to the sound from your TV.

Very good sound bar for price.

We gave her a large screen TV and thought she needed the sound system to give her a great viewing/listening experience. It works great and she and her husband have been very happy with it. Her husband loves to play games, so the only problem now is if she or he gets to use the TV and Sound system.
