Big Difference

Now I can crank this up and still get clear voices and music. I can play my music using the USB port and the Bluetooth availability also comes in handy. Setup was fast and easy and I have had no issues as of yet.

Amazing!

When I used optical I received an echo and the subwoofer was weak. When I switched to HDMI arc using a Sony TV the sound was amazing. Be sure to research the right soundbar for your TV. If your TV has HDMI Arc, use that input instead of optical. If you have a Sony TV (like I do), this sound bar works amazingly. Of course, it will work with other brands as well.

Decent soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this along with a new Sony tv. It was one of the suggested items. It does a decent job. This is the first time I have owned a soundbar. It’s nice that I don’t need to turn the volume up and down as often as I needed to with just tv speakers. The voice mode is great for shows and movies where all the dialogue scenes have the characters whispering. The only gripe I have, which is not a big deal, is that after the tv and soundbar have been on for a long time, several hours or so, there is about a half-second audio lag. All I have to do is use the soundbar remote to turn it off and on again. That solves the problem instantly. Also, the subwoofer is alright, but having never owned a soundbar/subwoofer before, I really have nothing to compare it too. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. Setup was a breeze. All I really had to do was plug the soundbar into the hdmi arc on my tv and plug in the power cords.

It just lacks the rumble of its predecessor. It’s a great buy if you’re looking for Sony. But if you’re not tied to the brand- try out other models too.
