||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sony soundbar with wireless subwoofer to go with my Sony TV that I purchased over a year ago. Seemed to be a good match. While the sound bar is definitely better than the speakers in the TV for the large, high ceiling room it is in, the sound is not great. I purchased this on sale. I have another sound bar with subwoofer on another TV in the basement. It is an LG and less expensive than the Sony. The sound and bass on the LG is awesome! The Sony soundbar bass in the subwoofer is difficult to detect. I have followed the instructions to turn up the sound in the subwoofer, but it is still weak. I wanted theater sound. Booming bass. The Sony does not do the job. I gave it 2 stars because it does pair well with the Sony TV.

I bought it to go along with my Sony TV. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I have not been successful pairing it with my TV using the HDMI cable. I had to use the optical cable instead. There is a slight delay between the TV and the sound.
